Vampire Weekend, Maya Rudolph, Jake Gyllenhaal & Sabrina Carter to close out SNL’s current season

Saturday Night Live only has three more episodes left in its 49th season. Dua Lipa, whose new album Radical Optimism is out Friday, pulls double duty as host and musical guest this Saturday (May 4), and they’ve just announced the host and musical guests for the final two episodes.

The May 11 episode is hosted for a third time by former SNL castmember Maya Rudolph with Vampire Weekend returning for their fourth appearance as musical guests. The May 18 season finale will feature Jake Gyllenhaal (his third time) with ”Espresso” hitmaker Sabrina Carpenter making her SNL musical guest debut.

Vampire Weekend will be back in NYC when their tour hits Madison Square Garden on October 5 and 6 with Billy Joel tribute band Turnstiles on both dates, plus Mark Ronson on night one and The Brothers Macklovitch on day two.
