Porno for Pyros wrapped up reunion tour with NYC & NJ shows (Hammerstein Ballroom pics, video, setlist)

Porno for Pyros wrapped up their reunion-turned-farewell tour over the weekend with shows in NYC on Friday (3/8 at Hammerstein Ballroom) and Montclair, NJ on Sunday (3/10 at Wellmont Theater). Both featured mostly the same setlist — NYC got the cover of Jimi Hendrix’s “Hey Gypsy Boy” they’ve done a few times this outing (sung as “Hey Gypsy Girl” in honor of International Women’s Day) while NJ got the tour debut of Good God’s Urge track “Dogs Rule the Night.” They also covered Iggy and The Stooges’ “I Got a Right” both nights, and played their November of 2023 single “Agua.” See both setlists and attendee-taken video below.

We attended the Hammerstein show, which had a real celebratory feel, with Perry Farrell talking about the songs and inspiration behind them, Peter DiStefano bursting with energy as he ripped guitar solos, Stephen Perkins grinning ear to ear, and Mike Watt holding it down on bass.
