Alex Cooper and Brianna LaPaglia Clash Amidst Ongoing Feud
The ongoing public friction between Call Her Daddy host Alex Cooper and social media personality Alix Earle has taken an unexpected turn, with fellow creator Brianna “Chickenfry” LaPaglia finding herself caught in the middle of the escalating drama. The situation, which has captivated internet observers for months, reached a boiling point this week as personal communications were brought into the public eye.
Taking to Instagram Stories on Wednesday, Cooper addressed the situation directly, stating, “This girl on girl shit needs to stop.” She accused LaPaglia of contributing to a “fake narrative” and participating in a “dog pile” against her. Cooper, who has been at the center of intense online scrutiny, challenged LaPaglia’s characterization of her as a “mean girl,” asserting that their only prior interactions were limited to private direct messages.
To substantiate her claims, Cooper shared a series of screenshots from her DMs with LaPaglia. In these exchanges, LaPaglia appeared to reach out to Cooper to navigate a sensitive situation involving Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy. LaPaglia, who previously co-hosted the BFFs podcast with Portnoy and Josh Richards, expressed concern over how her comments about Cooper might be perceived, telling the Call Her Daddy host, “You’re the blue print.”
Cooper maintained that she had never spoken negatively about LaPaglia and expressed frustration that the narrative had shifted toward personal attacks. She also addressed the involvement of Grace O’Malley, LaPaglia’s former PlanBri Uncut co-host, who transitioned to Cooper’s Unwell Network in late 2024. Cooper emphasized that there was no professional or personal animosity between her, the Unwell Network, and LaPaglia during that transition.
“So speaking of mean girls… have never met you in my life,” Cooper stated, before clarifying that she had briefly encountered LaPaglia in person once in 2021. She concluded her remarks by addressing the speculation surrounding the feud, firmly stating, “Now back to Alix. And no this is not a PR stunt.”
LaPaglia, for her part, has pushed back against the suggestion that the entire ordeal is a manufactured publicity stunt. In her own response, she dismissed critics, telling them to “get a brain cell.” LaPaglia claimed that her perspective on the situation was informed by private conversations with Earle regarding events that allegedly transpired between Cooper and Earle years ago. While she declined to share specific details, citing that it was “not my story to tell,” she reiterated her stance, stating, “From what Alix Earle told me, Alex Cooper is a very, very mean person.”
As of now, representatives for Cooper, Earle, and LaPaglia have not provided further comment on the matter. The situation remains a focal point for celebrity news enthusiasts, highlighting the complex and often volatile nature of digital-era public disputes.
