Chromatics share new single and tracklist for long-awaited album, Dear Tommy
The long-awaited LP was first announced in 2014 with a full tracklist, but never came out. Years later, it was reported that band leader Johnny Jewel destroyed every copy of the album after a near-death experience before deciding to re-record it.
Though the release date for Dear Tommy is still TBA, today Chromatics has revealed the final tracklist, as well as the first single, “Teacher.” The album will come out on Italians Do It Better at a TBA date.
News of Dear Tommy follows a recent burst in the band’s activity. Last year, Chromatics put out their first album in seven years, Closer To Grey, which was re-released as a 47-track deluxe version this January alongside a new single, “TOY.”
