TYLER CHILDERS

Tyler Childers has stayed on the road for most of 2024 and that will head into next year as well — he’s just announced February 2025 dates in Australia and New Zealand. He’s still got North American dates this summer, including Toronto, Ottawa, Calgary, Boulder, the Gorge in Washington, Louisville and more.

MJ LENDERMAN

MJ Lenderman‘s highly anticipated new album, Manning Fireworks, is out in September, and he’s announced a fall tour supporting it.

DURAN DURAN

New Wave icons Duran Duran will do a little touring this fall, including a special Halloween show at Madison Square Garden.

SUNSET RUBDOWN

Spencer Krug announced his first Sunset Rubdown album in 15 years today, along with a tour.

TYVEK

Detroit DIY punk heroes Tyvek will head to the NYC area later this summer for shows at Tubby’s Kingston on July 27 with Armedalite Rifles and Midnight Dental, and then Union Pool on July 28 with Stallone The Reducer and L’Eggs.

DAWN RICHARD & SPENCER ZAHN

Dawn Richard & Spencer Zahn are following up their great 2022 debut album with Quiet in a World Full of Noise, that will be out October 4 via Merge. They’ve also announced a fall tour.

THE VOIDZ

Julian Casablancas and The Voidz will be playing special LA and NYC shows to celebrate their first album in seven years.

VICKI PETERSON & JOHN COWSILL

The Bangles Vicki Peterson and husband John Cowsill (of The Cowsills) have lots of upcoming tour dates, including Thursday, July 11 at Hoboken’s 503 Social Club, plus shows in Los Angeles, Madison, WI and more.

QUEENS OF THE STONE AGE

Queens of the Stone Age have cancelled the remainder of their July shows in Europe, which were scheduled to run through the end of the month. “QOTSA regret to announce that Josh Homme must return to the United States immediately for emergency surgery,” a message from the band on social media reads.

TY SEGALL

Ty Segall’s new album may be mostly percussion, but his just-announced tour will be solo acoustic.

J.R.C.G.

J.R.C.G. (Justin R. Cruz Gallego) just wrapped up a tour with Mdou Moctar and has now announced headline club shows supporting his upcoming Sub Pop debut. His live band includes Jason Clackley (Dreamdecay, Exquisites), Ian Corrigan (Gen Pop, Vexx), Victory Nguyen (High Pulp, Sun King), Alex Barr (Telehealth) and Anthony Beauchemin (Casual Hex).

Dates include NYC-area shows at Kingston’s Tubby’s on August 29 and Queens’ TV Eye on September 25 with Marbled Eye.

CHRISTIAN LEE HUTSON

Christian Lee Hutson will be on tour this fall in support of his new album.

THE MESSTHETICS W/ JAMES BRANDON LEWIS, MDOU MOCTAR

The Messthetics (Fugazi’s Joe Lally & Brendan Canty + guitarist Anthony Pirog) have a busy tour schedule ahead, including a run with frequent collaborator James Brandon Lewis and Mdou Moctar.

MEI SEMONES (DATES WITH MIA JOY, KATY KIRBY, ELEPHANT GYM, MORE)

Mei Semones, who released her terrific debut EP earlier this year via Bayonette, has tour dates on the horizon with Mia Joy, then Katy Kirby, and then Taiwan’s Elephat Gym (including NYC’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on 9/26). Before that, though, she’ll play Union Pool’s free Summer Thunder series this Sunday, July 14 (2 PM) opening for Lifeguard and Font.

EYEHATEGOD

New Orleans sludge metal vets Eyehategod will be on tour soon, having just announced a August tour with Exhorder and Hans Condor that runs through the Midwest and Northeast. They’ll then be back out in in the fall for dates in the South and Texas with Soulfly, Mutilation Barbecue, and Skinflint.

GATHERING OF THE JUGGALOS 2024

Insane Clown Posse‘s infamously debaucherous festival, Gathering of the Juggalos, will return on August 14-18 at Legend Valley at Thornville, OH. It’s the 24th annual edition of the Gathering and the initial lineup is out.

THE DEAR HUNTER

The Dear Hunter have announced a fall 20th anniversary tour where they’ll be performing a career-spanning set. Dates include NYC’s Irving Plaza on Halloween.
