NATE BARGATZE
Comedian Nate Bargatze will be heading out on the Big Dumb Eyes Tour in 2025, with North American dates running from May through December. The NYC stop is at Madison Square Garden on September 27.
LAURA MARLING
Laura Marling has announced two LA shows on February 7 & 8 at The Montalbán Theater where she’ll be backed by a string quartet.
AC/DC
AC/DC have announced their first North American tour with vocalist Brian Johnson back in the band since 2016, set to go down in April and May.
JOYCE MANOR
Joyce Manor’s Never Hungover Again 10th anniversary tour begins tonight (12/2) at House of Blues in Anaheim, and from there hits Los Angeles (Hollywood Palladium on Thursday, 12/5 with Algernon Cadwallader, Train Breaks Down, and Slippers), NYC (Brooklyn Steel on Sunday, 12/8 with Algernon Cadwallader and The Ergs!), and more. They also have Australian shows lined up in 2025. See all dates here.
NEIL RUBENSTEIN (DATES W/ JOANNA ANGEL, MORE)
Long Island hardcore vet Neil Rubenstein, who these days is a comedian who opens a lot of punk-related shows, has a busy calendar now through early 2025. This week he plays NYC shows at Tiny Cupboard on 12/3 and Sour Mouse on 12/8. Later this month he’s got a couple shows with adult film director/actress Joanna Angel at Bushwick Comedy Club on 12/17 and Long Island’s Amityville Music Hall on 12/18, both of which are for their show ‘Debauched’ which is described as “stories of binging, benders and banging.” Check out his full schedule here.
J. COLE
J. Cole will celebrate the 10th anniversary of his third LP, 2014’s 2014 Forest Hills Drive, with a special NYC show later this month. He’s also announce the return of his Dreamville fest.
SICK NEW WORLD 2025 (CANCELED)
Just six weeks after announcing the lineup, the 2025 edition of Las Vegas’ Sick New World fest has been canceled.
PULP (ROCKIN’ON SONIC & MORE)
With their first new album in over 20 years seeming like a distinct possibility, Pulp look to have a busy 2025. So far though, only two dates: Rockin’on Sonic fest in Japan on January 4 (with Weezer, Death Cab for Cutie, Jimmy Eat World, Primal Scream, Manic Street Preachers, Friendly Fires, The Jesus and Mary Chain, The Lemon Twigs and more playing), and the Tramlines Fest in the band’s hometown of Sheffield On July 25. “This is only the beginning” Jarvis Cocker said at the final date of their North American tour earlier this year.
TRAMLINES FESTIVAL
Here’s more on Tramlines: it’s a three-day festival running July 25-27 in Sheffield’s Hillsborough Park. Pulp have curated the entire Day 1 lineup, which they headline, that also includes Spiritualized, Baxter Dury, John Grant, Fat White Family, Hot Chip DJs, a “Special Guest TBA” and more. The other two days feature Franz Ferdinand, The Futureheads, Kasabian, The Last Dinner Party, CMAT, and more. Head here for tickets and more details.
AVRIL LAVIGNE
Avril Lavigne has extended her “Greatest Hits” tour into 2025 with pop punk giants Simple Plan, who also joined her for her very first tour, for most of the shows, plus Fefe Dobson opening the Canadian shows, and We The Kings also along on select dates.
