GWAR (DATES W/ WEEDEATER, BRUJERIA, MORE)
“This is an incredible time in the history of the world, so much death and destruction in the face of so much senseless entitlement and arrogant darkness,” says GWAR frontcreature Blothar the Berserker of the band’s upcoming tour. “We cannot wait to shock some sense into humanity with the most outrageous performance of heavy metal theater ever to descend from the gods.” Dates are in June, surrounding their appearance at Bonnaroo, with stops in Hartford, DC, Memphis, Tampa and more with Weedeater, X-Cops, and Squid Pisser also on board. They’ve also got dates in September with Brujeria, Brat and Cancer Christ including Buffalo, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Little Rock and more.
CHARLI XCX / TROY SIVAN
Regular collaborators Charli XCX and Troye Sivan will hit the road together in North America this fall with support from Shygirl.
CYPRESS HILL / PHARCYDE / SOULS OF MISCHIEF
The We Legalized It Tour, featuring Cypress Hill, The Pharcyde and Souls of Mischief, gets underway Wednesday night in Boston and from there hits NYC (Brooklyn Steel on 4/19) and Atlantic City on 4/20, with further dates in Detroit, Chicago, a stop at Red Rocks, and more.
THE FOLK IMPLOSION
Lou Barlow and John Davis release their first new Folk Implosion album in 25 years, Walk Thru Me, on June 28 via Joyful Noise. They’ll be going on their first tour in 25 years, too.
LADYLAND 2024
NYC Pride Month festival LadyLand is expanding to two days for its 2024 edition, which features Kim Petras, Arca, Tokischa, and more.
SOMETHING CORPORATE
Something Corporate will be on their first tour in 14 years this summer. They’ve now added a second NYC show and announced tour openers.
KING HANNAH
UK band King Hannah will be in North America this summer for a few shows around the release of their second album.
GOOD LOOKS
Texas band Good Looks release their new album Lived Here For A While in June, and have announced a summer tour in support.
JAKE XERXES FUSSELL
Jake Xerxes Fussell has announced a new album, When I’m Called, his first for Fat Possum, which will be out July 12. His tour includes dates with Kath Bloom and Robin Holcomb.
THIS IS LORELEI (NATE FROM WATER FROM YOUR EYES)
Nate Amos of Water From Your Eyes releases his new This Is Lorelei album on June 14, and he’s just announced a show to celebrate, happening June 20 at TV Eye with Zero Point Energy and DJ Eve Swords.
THE DAVID LIEBE HART EXPERIENCE (NYC W/ VIVIEN GOLDMAN)
Tim & Eric associate David Liebe Hart is going on tour with his band The Dave Liebe Hart Experience starting this weekend. The tour kicks off in NYC at The Broadway on April 26, which is a very cool all-around bill that also features post-punk artist and music writer Vivien Goldman, the Morricone-esque Tredici Bacci and Chimaera.
