CHUCK RAGAN (HOT WATER MUSIC)
Hot Water Music’s Chuck Ragan has announced an East Coast tour kicking off March 18 in Richmond and wrapping up April 6 in Columbus. Cory Branan joins through April first and then Nate Bergman opens on the rest of the tour. The NYC stop is at City Winery on March 23.
SYSTEM OF A DOWN
System of a Down have added second nights to their trio of North American stadium shows.
CAMERON PICTON (BLACK MIDI)
Geordie Greep isn’t the only black midi member to be launching a solo career. Bassist and vocalist Cameron Picton will be in the US in late winter 2025 to open Lankum‘s shows in San Francisco and Los Angeles, and while here he has lined up a couple headline shows as well.
LDB FEST
Louisville hardcore (and more) festival LDB Fest has announced its 2025 lineup, including Cold World, Basement, Superheaven, and more.
TREEFORT FEST
Boise, ID’s Treefort Festival has announced some lineup additions to their 2025 edition, including another headliner, Remi Wolf, plus Built To Spill, KT Tunstall, Adrian Younge, Delicate Steve, Dutch Interior, Dummy, Girl And Girl, and more. Here’s the updated lineup poster:
BEACH HOUSE
It’s been three years since Beach House released the sprawling, awesome Once Twice Melody, and while there’s been no word on a new record, it seems like the lights are back on in the factory. They announced appearances at the Barcelona and Porto editions of Primavera Sound in June, and before that they’ll be in Salt Lake City for the 2025 Kilby Block Party in May. They’ll warm up for those fests with a few headline shows.
ASTRID SONNE
Denmark-born, London-based artist Astrid Sonne, who released Great Doubt back in January, has announced 2025 tour dates around her appearance at Big Ears fest in Knoxville. Dates include NYC’s Pioneer Works on March 25 with Tarta Relena and Jules Reidy.
CAUTIOUS CLAY BLUE NOTE RESIDENCY
Singer, songwriter, and producer Cautious Clay has announced a Blue Note residency which begins on his birthday, January 30, and runs through February 2. He says, “We playing a whole lot of what’s to come in 25’ and the energy is kinetic.”
BEN KWELLER
Ben Kweller releases his new album Cover the Mirrors next year, and he’ll be on tour supporting it.
SAM AMIDON
Sam Amidon’s new album Salt River is out January 24 and he’s got a few release shows lined up.
RAMY YOUSSEF
Ramy Youssef, who was just nominated for a Golden Globe for this year’s ’More Feelings’ standup special, will be on tour in January and February.
CAPITOL GROOVE 2025
Hartford, CT festival The Capitol Groove will return for its second annual edition on June 28 and 29 in Bushnell Park. Khruangbin (on Saturday) and Bleachers (on Sunday) headline, and the rest of the lineup is here.
