JENNY LEWIS
Jenny Lewis has added more dates to her Joy’All Ball tour. Those happen in June and cities include Columbus, Richmond, Saxapahaw, Jacksonville and Birmingham. Dean Johnson opens and all dates are here.
AMERICAN FOOTBALL
American Football will celebrate the 25th anniversary of their classic, highly influential debut album with some US shows. They’ll stop in NYC, Chicago, Los Angeles, and Washington DC for the dates, which follow their summer tour of Europe and the UK, and surround their set at Best Friends Forever fest.
NEW FOUND GLORY
Pop punk giants New Found Glory‘s fourth album Catalyst turns 20 this year, and the band will be celebrating by playing it in full on tour with support from a great newer band, Sincere Engineer.
PASSION PIT
It’s been a little while since we’ve heard from Passion Pit, but they played a West Hollywood Pride festival last summer, and they’re on the lineup for Just Like Heaven in May. They’ve now announced a few US headlining shows around the festival.
R.A.P. FERREIRA / CAVALIER
Fresh off releasing his great new album the First Fist to Make Contact When We Dap, R.A.P. Ferreira is going on a tour with Cavalier, including Brooklyn’s Elsewhere Zone One on May 4.
CHARLEY CROCKETT
Charley Crockett has expanded his tour for his upcoming album $10 Cowboy, and some of these new dates are the biggest headline shows of his career and at iconic venues, including Colorado’s Red Rocks, Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, and L.A.’s Greek Theatre. Previously announced dates include two NYC-area shows: Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre on June 6 and Brooklyn Paramount on July 20. Updated dates are here.

José González will be back in the US this fall for a short tour of the South and Midwest.

Gossip’s first album in 12 years, Real Power, is out March 22, and they’ll celebrate with a few NYC events.

Long-running Toronto band Tokyo Police Club are calling it quits this year, but not before one last tour.

NJ cult pop punk trio The Ergs!‘ beloved 2004 debut LP dorkrockcorkrod turns 20 this year, and they’ll be celebrating with an expanded reissue on Don Giovanni and some shows.
WOOLBRIGHT
Florida indie rock band Woolbright have announced the I Got That Frog In Me Tour, which happens in May and includes a NYC show at Trans-Pecos on 5/10.
ALISON ROMAN ‘SOLICITED ADVICE’ PODCAST TOUR
Cookbook author and YouTube personality Alison Roman will be taking her podcast “Solicited Advice” on the road in May for live tapings. “If you’ve been to any book tour of mine, half the event is basically me answering all your questions anyway (my favorite part),” says Alison, “so I thought, we must make it official.” The tour ends in Brooklyn at The Opera House on May 14.
MYRIAM GENDRON
Myriam Gendron’s new album Mayday is out May 10 via Thrill Jockey and features guitarist Marisa Anderson and drummer Jim White, with whom she’ll be on tour this spring.
PEDAL STEEL NOAH
Having released daily pedal steel covers (The Smiths, Cocteau Twins, Echo & Bunnymen) and more via his very popular Instagram account, Noah Faulkner is now releasing a record. He’s playing shows in his hometown of Austin this week for SXSW and will also open for The Polyphonic Spree at three Texas shows.
THE EARLY NOVEMBER
The Early November announced a new album and a headlining tour with support from fellow 2000s-era emo-pop bands Spitalfield, Hellogoodbye, and Hit the Lights, plus newer band Cliffdiver, varying by date.
SLASH’S S.E.R.P.E.N.T. BLUES FEST TOUR
Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash, who was last seen wildly solo-ing through Ryan Gosling’s Oscar night performance of “I’m Just Ken,” has announced the S.E.R.P.E.N.T Blues Festival tour. Slash will be joined by a variety of special guests along the way, including the Warren Haynes Band, Keb’ ‘Mo, Christone “Kingfish” Ingram, Robert Randolph, Samantha Fish, Eric Gales, ZZ Ward, Jackie Venson, and Larkin Poe.
