THE AVETT BROTHERS
The Avett Brothers have announced a spring / summer tour, hitting outdoor ampitheaters and arenas from May through August. Stops include NYC’s Forest Hills Stadium on May 17 with Sierra Ferrell.
DEEPER / STUCK
Chicago bands Deeper and Stuck will be hitting the road together for a few East Coast shows, playing Washington, DC (Comet Ping Pong on 2/22), Kingston (Tubby’s on 2/24), and Brooklyn (Baby’s All Right on 2/25).
MOLLY NILSSON / AIR WAVES
Molly Nilsson has announced a few West Coast dates with Air Waves in April, including San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco. Before that, Air Waves will play with Jimmy Whispers at Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on January 22.
CODE ORANGE
Code Orange were scheduled to begin a headlining tour supporting their 2023 album The Above in February, including dates with Gel, Teenage Wrist, Soul Blind, Spy, and Gridiron. They’ve now cancelled the outing due to “serious health issues” that guitarist Dominic Landolina has been experiencing.
SHELTER / CIV
New York hardcore / post-hardcore greats Shelter and CIV are both back for the first time in a while, and they’ve announced some Northeast shows for this spring.
PROVOKER
L.A. post-punks Provoker will be on tour starting in February and have added more dates, including Richmond, Dallas, Las Vegas, and a second Brooklyn show at Baby’s All Right on March 3 (their 3/2 Baby’s show is sold out). Support along the way comes from Riki, Kumo 99 and HighSchool.
WILD PINK
Wild Pink continue to tour supporting their fourth album, 2022’s ILYSM, including a run of dates with Sun June in the spring. Ahead of that run, Wild Pink will stop in the Northeastern US for shows with Greg Mendez, Empty Country, and Sweet Harm, varying by date.
’68 / CALLOUS DAOBOYS / HOMELESS GOSPEL CHOIR
On the heels of releasing their heaviest album yet, The Chariot/Norma Jean offshoot ’68 have announced a tour with a younger chaotic heavy band who takes definite influence from Josh Scogin’s classic work, The Callous Daoboys, as well as Pittsburgh punks The Homeless Gospel Choir.
CIRITH UNGOL
Heavy metal/hard rock legends Cirith Ungol will be saying goodbye this year, and they’ve added more dates to their farewell tour, including Seattle, Portland and a second Brooklyn show at Saint Vitus on October 19 (the band’s 10/20 Vitus show is sold out). All dates are here.
WORRIERS (WITH ALKALINE TRIO / DRUG CHURCH)
Alkaline Trio and Drug Church will be on tour together starting in February, and they’ve just announced that Worriers will be joining them. That tour hits NYC at Knockdown Center on March 9.
TOMB MOLD / AFTERBIRTH
Toronto progressive death metallers Tomb Mold released one of our favorite albums of 2023 with The Enduring Spirit, and now they’ve announced that they’re coming to NYC for the first time in over four years with prog-death cult heroes Afterbirth.
KMFDM
Industrial icons KMFDM are celebrating their 40th anniversary this year with a new album and a spring US tour.
YOLA
Yola‘s last release was her 2021 album Stand for Myself, but she has new music on the way, which she’s promising to preview on an “intimate tour” in March and April. Stops include NYC, Los Angeles, Washington DC, and more.
FOLLY GROUP
London band Folly Group released their debut album today and will make their first visit to North America in May.
KATIE PRUITT
Nashville-based singer-songwriter Katie Pruitt has announced her second album, Mantras, and a tour.
