Porridge Radio previewed new songs solo at Baby’s All Right (pics)
Porridge Radio founder Dana Margolin had to postpone the beginning of her US solo tour due to illness, but she’s thankfully feeling better and made it to NYC for her Wednesday night (5/1) show at Baby’s All Right. She mixed previews of new material with familiar favorites, and stripped down to guitar and vocals with her impassioned delivery, songs like “Sweet,” “Lilac,” and “Back to the Radio” were more intense and captivating than ever. The new songs sounded very promising, and she also took some requests (and eventually decided on the last song of the night after vetoing a few requests that didn’t lend themselves to being performed solo). A great set, and hopefully she’ll be back soon.
Love of Everything, aka Bobby Burg (Joan of Arc, etc) opened with a solo set, and you can see pictures from the show below.
