Mosswood Meltdown 2024: B-52s, Redd Kross, Hunx, Big Freedia, Pure Hell, more

The 2024 edition of Oakland, CA’s Mosswood Meltdown happens July 6 & 7 at Mosswood Park. Hosting once again is John Waters, and this year’s lineup is headlined by The B-52s, who haven’t quite retired yet. The rest of the lineup includes Hunx & His Punx, Big Freedia, Redd Kross, Philly punk legends Pure Hell (their first West Coast show in 30+ years), Egyptian Lover, Pansy Division, Bush Tetras, Go Sailor, Wifey, Gibby Haynes & the Paul Green Rock Academy (performing a Butthole Surfers set), cult legend the Space Lady, Die Spitz, and more.

John Waters will also be a judge at the festival’s first-ever drag contest, that will be hosted by Peaches Christ.
