Kendrick Lamar headlining Super Bowl 2025 halftime show
Kendrick Lamar will headline the Super Bowl LIX halftime show, which happens at New Orleans’ Caesars Superdome on Sunday, February 9. He announced the news on social media, writing, “Super Bowl LIX. New Orleans. February 2025.” He also shared a video clip on YouTube, where he says, “You know there’s only one opportunity to win the championship. No round twos.” Directed at Drake, perhaps?
A press release from Kendrick reads, “Rap music is still the most impactful genre to date. And I’ll be there to remind the world why. They got the right one.”
Kendrick last performed at the Super Bowl in 2022, along with Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Mary J. Blige, 50 Cent, and Anderson .Paak.
