Disney Signs ‘Toddler Techno’ DJ Lenny Pearce for Music and Development Deal
Lenny Pearce, the Australian DJ who gained global recognition for his innovative “toddler techno” sets and family-friendly raves, has officially signed a music and content development deal with Disney. The announcement, made on Tuesday (April 21), marks a significant milestone for the producer, whose career took off after he began remixing children’s classics following the birth of his first child in 2023.
The partnership will kick off with the release of Disney Jr. Music: Lenny Pearce Toddler Techno, an album set to debut on May 15. The project features high-energy remixes of iconic tracks from the Disney Jr. catalog. Fans can expect the first single, “Mickey Mouse Clubhouse Theme (Toddler Techno Remix),” to arrive on streaming platforms on April 24. The album will also include reimagined versions of songs from popular series such as SuperKitties and Marvel’s Spidey and His Amazing Friends.
Beyond the music, Disney Jr. is collaborating with Pearce to develop original animated content inspired by these remix versions. This new programming will join the existing Disney Jr. lineup on Disney+, which includes hits like Bluey and the upcoming Sofia the First: Royal Magic.
Reflecting on the collaboration, Pearce expressed his enthusiasm for the project. “I had so much fun remixing these songs in my studio,” he said in a statement. “My 3-year-old daughter loves these shows, especially SuperKitties, so it made the whole project extra special. Certainly, a proud dad moment. Disney were such a pleasure to work with, from audio to music videos the whole process was incredibly seamless.”
Disney executives have also praised the partnership. Ken Bunt, president of Disney Music Group, noted, “Having seen Lenny’s concert in person, it’s clear he’s built something special—an experience where families connect through music in a fun, modern way. We’re excited to bring that same energy to Disney Jr.’s songs and give families a new way to enjoy them together live and at home.”
Ayo Davis, president of Disney Branded Television, added, “Music has always been a powerful way for kids to engage with our stories. Lenny has tapped into that in a really fresh way, taking songs kids already love and reimagining them in new ways. This collaboration lets us build on that connection, bringing some of our biggest stars like Mickey, Spidey and SuperKitties into new music experiences for kids to enjoy on Disney+.”
Pearce’s rise has been meteoric. After his initial remixes went viral, he successfully transitioned his work into an all-ages event series. His 2025 U.S. tour saw every show sell out within 10 minutes, proving the massive demand for his unique brand of family entertainment.
