Back To Mine series taps Fatboy Slim for new mix

Fatboy Slim is mixing the next instalment in the Back To Mine series.

The celebrated afterhours-themed mix series returned in early 2019 for its 20th anniversary, after an 11-year hiatus, with a mix by Nightmares On Wax, followed by Jungle’s entry later that year.

In addition to some rarities, like Donal Leace’s “Today Won’t Come Again,” Fatboy Slim, AKA Norman Cook, has included two new and exclusive tracks of his own in the 21-song set: “Sunset 303 (If You Believe)” by Fatboy Slim & Roland Clark and “The Voice Of Experience” from his Yum Yum Head Food alias. The mix will be released November 6th as double-vinyl, double-CD and digital versions, the latter of which will include a continuous mix.

“Over the years there has been so much action back at mine, so many friends, lovers and lunatics who would congregate after the clubs had closed to laugh, share and swap ideas and tunes and generally put the world to rights,” Fatboy Slim says. “This is a collection from the soundtrack of those sessions.”

At the start of the UK lockdown, Fatboy Slim shared Lockdown Mixtapes each week for 20 weeks—listen to the collection on his SoundCloud.
