Aphex Twin announces AFX Station, a new synth from Novation
Aphex Twin has collaborated with music tech company Novation on a new synthesizer.
The AFX Station is a limited-edition version of Novation’s Bass Station II with a new “AFX Mode” pre-installed. The AFX Mode allows each key on the instrument to become its own patch. It also comes with 128 new synth patches and seven overlay banks from other artists, including sounds from Richard Devine and Lightbath.
The AFX Station is embossed with the Aphex Twin logo and features unique purple accents. It also comes in a box designed by Weirdcore, who have worked with Aphex Twin for years.
