Alexa Dark Pairs Her Hypnotic Debut Single “Fade to Black and Blue” With Fascinating Visuals
NYC-based singer-songwriter Alexa Dark has paired her hypnotic alternative rock debut single “Fade to Black and Blue” with fascinating visuals.
In the music video, she is seen performing on a stage by herself, singing about love and loss.
Speaking about the visual concept, she explains: “The location of this old theatre enhanced the cinematic feeling of the song and brought the lyrics to life. We wanted the video to be layered with meaning that can be pulled apart and interpreted by each viewer in their own way.”
WThe song was written and recorded with producer Matt Chiaravalle (Debbie Harry, Warren Zevon), and mastered by Grammy-award winner Emily Lazar (Beck, Haim).
For all NYC residents, Alexa Dark will be performing a live concert on July 21, at the iconic indie venue Mercury Lounge in NYC.
