Morgan Wallen Pokes Fun at Piano-Flipping Incident in New TikTok
Morgan Wallen has assured his fans that his stage equipment is in perfect working order, opting to poke fun at himself following a viral moment during his recent Denver performance. The country superstar made headlines when he pushed over an upright piano during a show at Empower Field at Mile High Stadium, an act that left many wondering about the state of his gear.
In a lighthearted clip shared on social media, Morgan Wallen filmed himself approaching a keyboard, telling the camera, “Hey, I just want you guys to know that, right now, this piano is working.” He then stepped away, only to turn back and quip, “That’s what they told me last night, too!” He further leaned into the joke in the video’s caption, writing, “Can’t you tell I’m so distraught over my piano.”
The incident occurred during the encore of “Sand in My Boots” at the first of two headlining shows in Denver. While the performance was intended to be a highlight, technical difficulties appeared to hinder Wallen’s ability to hear the instrument while he played. Ultimately, he finished the song a cappella to the delight of the crowd, before channeling his inner rock star and pushing the piano over.
By all accounts, the instrument was fully functional for his second show the following night. Wallen is currently continuing his tour, with upcoming stops in Pittsburgh and a busy summer schedule ahead as he promotes his 2025 blockbuster record, I’m the Problem. The tour is set to visit cities including Chicago, Baltimore, and Ann Arbor before concluding in Philadelphia at the end of July.
