KILL LINCOLN / HALF PAST TWO / OMNIGONE
Three of the best current ska-punk bands around, Kill Lincoln, Half Past Two, and Omnigone, will team for a 2025 East Coast tour. It begins in Florida (where Kill Lincoln also have a show with Less Than Jake), and ends with a stop in Brooklyn at The Woodshop on 3/22.
DEAD & CO @ SPHERE
Grateful Dead offshoot Dead & Company, which features Dead members Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and Bill Kreutzmann joined by John Mayer, Jeff Chimenti, and Oteil Burbridge, did a 30-show residency at Las Vegas’ Sphere this year, and they’ll return for another one in 2025.
OF MONTREAL ‘SUNLANDIC TWINS’ 20TH ANNIVERSARY TOUR
of Montreal‘s classic seventh album, The Sunlandic Twins, turns 20 next year, and Kevin Barnes is celebrating by taking the band on tour to play it in full this spring. Dates, which are with cumgirl8, include Carrboro, DC, NYC, Portsmouth, Boston, Norwalk, Philly, and Asheville.
RIDE
Shoegaze greats Ride start their December US tour with Rocket tonight in Hamden, CT and dates run through December 20 in San Francisco. The Brooklyn stop is at Warsaw on Friday, December 6.
SHARON VAN ETTEN & THE ATTACHMENT THEORY
Sharon Van Etten and her new band The Attachment Theory will support their debut album with their first-ever North American tour.
YO LA TENGO
Yo La Tengo are playing Knoxville’s Big Ears Festival and Salt Lake City’s Kilby Block Party this spring, and in between those they’ll be on a tour across the South, Southwest and West Coast.

Alan Sparhawk has just announced spring dates after Big Ears fest that include a few shows with Mount Eerie. He’s also got January dates with Circuit Des Yeux.

After celebrating the 10th anniversary of their 2013 debut Whenever, If Ever on tour last year, The World Is a Beautiful Place & I Am No Longer Afraid to Die are now set to play their even better sophomore album, 2015’s Harmlessness, in full for its 10th anniversary on a 2025 tour.
ANXIOUS
Anxious, whose second album is due in February, announced a spring headlining tour with support from Ultra Q (whose lineup includes Green Day singer Billie Joe Armstrong’s son Jakob) and hardcore-infused pop punks Stateside, who also opened one of the leg’s of Anxious’ co-headlining tour with One Step Closer and Koyo earlier this year.
BOSTON MANOR / SPACED / WIFE’S PARTNER
UK post-hardcore/rock band Boston Manor announced a tour with support from one of our favorite newer hardcore bands, Spaced, as well as Farmer’s Wife and Canadian indie artist Ellis. The tour hits Brooklyn at The Meadows on May 7.

Whistler extraordinaire Molly Lewis will be playing major cities in the US and Canada this spring, with stops in Boston, Toronto, DC, Philly, Seattle, Vancouver, LA, Boise, and more, including a few shows opening for Lord Huron.

Valerie June has announced the Owls, Omens, and Oracles Tour which has her and her band on the road across the US in April, May and June.
IN DEFENSE OF SKA BOOK TOUR
Fresh off releasing the second edition of his acclaimed book In Defense of Ska, Aaron Carnes will begin an East Coast book tour this week. The NYC event is moderated by BV’s own Andrew Sacher.

Steve Earle will be busy with a few shows from now through March, including his annual winter residency at NYC’s City Winery.

AMERICAN SONGBOOK: SINGER OUTSIDERS
American Songbook: Singer Outsiders is a new series at Lincoln Center that “uplifts women and nonbinary musicians who have shaped the modern landscape of music and continue to drive conversations on gender, identity, and empowerment.” It was curated by Kathleen Hanna and Tamar-kali, and events include tributes to Poly Styrene and The Slits, concerts with ESG/Gossip, Joan as Police Woman, Meshell Ndegeocello, and more.

UK band mary in the junkyard are in NYC for their first US shows, playing TV Eye tonight (12/4) as part of Model/Actriz’s 2024 Christmukkuh celebration, and a free headline show at Baby’s All Right on Thursday (12/5).

TV Girl and George Clanton just released a collab album and they’ve got special release shows in NYC and LA this month.
GENE SIMMONS (KISS)
KISS played what they said were their last shows just over a year ago, but co-founder Gene Simmons took his Gene Simmons Band on the road for some shows in Europe and South America (and a charity event in North Tonawanda, NY) earlier this year, and now he’s announced some more US dates for 2025.
AGNOSTIC FRONT & MURPHY’S LAW
NYHC vets Agnostic Front and Murphy’s Law have announced the New York Blood Tour 2025, which also includes Buffalo band Violent Way and, on Texas shows, Liberty & Justice.
