Doechii announces new mixtape, ‘Alligator Bites Never Heal,’ shares “Boom Bap”
Florida rapper/singer Doechii has released a bunch of great singles lately (“Alter Ego” with JT from City Girls is a big highlight), and now she’s just announced a new mixtape, Alligator Bites Never Heal, due next week (8/30) via TDE/Capitol. The project features just one of her recent singles (“Nissan Altima”), as well as a couple songs that she debuted during her recent “Swamp Sessions” series, including “Bullfrog” and “Catfish.” Along with the announcement comes another new single, “Boom Bap,” and, true to its name, it sounds like an old school boom bap song, but in a distinctly Doechii way.
