Caroline Says preps new album, shares “Faded and Golden” video
Singer-songwriter Caroline Sallee has announced her third album as Caroline Says, titled The Lucky One, which will be out October 11 via Western Vinyl. This is her first album since moving from Austin to Brooklyn (she’s originally from Alabama), and she wrote, performed and recorded it herself. The album was mixed by Nate Mendelsohn and mastered by Heba Kadry.
The first single is “Faded and Golden,” a lovely bit of country-tinged pop, leavened by pedal steel and Sallee’s gossamer harmonies. Watch the hand-drawn, animated video for that below.
