Jack White reveals details of ‘No Name’ album at Nashville benefit show (video, setlist ++ album tracklist)

Jack White played Nashville’s American Legion Post 82 on Saturday, a benefit to help fund a new sound system for the venue which has hosted a very popular Tuesday honky tonk night for years. (That night is moving to the nearby East Side Bowl starting in August.) At the show, White played six songs from his new album which he had finished copies of at the merch table.

The album is indeed titled No Name — which was stamped onto the otherwise information-free copies of the vinyl given out last weekend at Third Man stores — and was recorded in 2023 and 2024 at Third Man Studio in Nashville. You can see the cover art — which apparently comes from a detail of a photo Jack took of the rubble at the base of Mt Rushmore — and tracklist below (h/t Stereogum).

As for when No Name will get a proper release, one redditor in the UK said they went to Rough Trade store who told them it would be out this Friday, August 2. We shall see.

Jack’s shows have been no-phone zones for a while but someone had a camera and recorded much of the Nashville show which also included a few White Stripes songs including “Fell in Love With a Girl,” “Ball and Biscuit,” “I Think I Smell a Rat,” and “Black Math.” Video from the show at the setlist are below.

Jack and his band will play intimate Georgia shows in Atlanta and Athens this week to warm up for European festivals Oya, Way Out West and Syd for Solen where they are replacing for Queens of the Stone Age (who had to cancel dates as Josh Homme is recovering from emergency surgery).
