American Football share clip of new music, teasing LP4?

American Football have been celebrating the 25th anniversary of LP1 this year, but it looks like we might be learning a little more about LP4 soon too. The band have spoken about writing a followup to 2019’s excellent LP3, and now they’ve shared 24 seconds of what appears to be new music with the caption “track one.” The clip soundtracks a video of the American Football House, and it ends by displaying the date 07.31.2024, so presumably we’ll learn more on Wednesday. And even just this short amount of music is already sounding good. Check it out below.

American Football’s LP1 tour hits Brooklyn on October 26 and 27 at Warsaw with Hello Mary opening night one and IAN SWEET opening night two. They also play day one of Las Vegas’ new Best Friends Forever fest on October 11, and Mike Kinsella pulls double duty that day, as Cap’n Jazz are headlining. All dates are listed below.
