Uzuri hosts mix takeover with South Africa's Not Sorry Club
Uzuri is hosting another mix takeover from a South African crew—this time Cape Town’s Not Sorry Club.
The partnership will see Lakuti‘s label host three mixes from the crew’s DJs: Dormant Youth, Sanetran and Mama Zeph. Not Sorry Club is a self-described “femme-centric” group who aim to bring more inclusivity to South Africa’s rave scene.
The first mix, available now, comes from Mama Zeph, who also runs a project called The Fly Machine Sessions. Mixes from Dormant Youth and Sanetran will follow later this week.
This takeover follows a similar partnership with Johannesburg’s Femme Kollektiv, which took place this past summer.
