Riley Green Previews New Ballad ‘My Way’ Ahead of ‘Marshals’ Debut

A New Chapter for Riley Green

Riley Green, who recently earned four nominations at the ACM Awards, including a nod for album of the year, is expanding his creative horizons. As he prepares for his acting debut on the highly anticipated Yellowstone spin-off series Marshals, the country music star is giving fans a first look at his latest musical offering, “My Way.”

The studio version of the track, produced by the legendary Dann Huff, captures a tender, introspective side of Green. Fans who have followed the singer on social media may recognize the melody; Green has teased snippets of the song online over the past several months and has performed the self-penned ballad during his recent Australia Tour, including stops in Sydney, Melbourne, and at the CMC Rocks festival.

Bringing Music to the Screen

Green’s foray into acting sees him stepping into the role of Garrett, a former Navy SEAL teammate of characters played by Luke Grimes and Logan Marshall-Green. The character arrives in Montana carrying the weight of past demons, a narrative arc that aligns with the emotional depth found in his new music. Green is scheduled to perform “My Way” in character during the April 26 episode of Marshals, following his series debut on April 19.

The song itself is a strings-laden ballad that explores the universal theme of longing to recapture a lost love. It serves as a testament to Green’s artistic growth, showcasing his ability to balance the grit of modern country music with the vulnerability required for a cinematic ballad.

Touring and Future Releases

While fans await the official release of “My Way” on Friday, April 17, via Nashville Harbor Records and Entertainment, Green remains busy on the road. He is currently headlining his “Cowboy As It Gets” arena tour, which spans North America and includes high-profile festival appearances at Stagecoach and the iHeartCountry Festival.

With a packed schedule of concerts throughout the summer and fall, Green continues to solidify his position as one of the genre’s most consistent and compelling performers. Whether on stage or on screen, he remains dedicated to delivering authentic storytelling to his growing fanbase.
