The Advent launches fully-licensed online club with Floorplan, Tony Humphries & Cari Lekebusch
The first transmission from the new online club kicks off this weekend at 9 PM BST with an electro set from The Advent, a live performance by Carl Finlow‘s Silicon Scally and DJ turns from Tony Humphries, Cari Lekebusch, Claude Young, Ron Trent, Floorplan, Kerrie and Lady CC, to name a few.
Techno Club is operating on a pay-per-minute basis and will also be reporting full tracklists to performing rights organizations so that royalties are paid to artists. A chat room will allow attendees to socialize and discuss sets throughout the weekend.
“The past six months has taught us that many of the digital outlets for DJ streams are not fit for purpose, and we, as DJs ourselves, needed to create something that is fair for artists and DJs while also curating the finest techno, electro and house music,” says Cisco Ferreira, AKA The Advent.
