Stormzy reportedly in talks to write children's book centering social justice issues

Stormzy is in the process of writing a children’s book series dealing with issues related to racial inequality.

According to The Sun, an industry source has revealed the grime artist will be collaborating with a ghostwriter and illustrator for the project.

“Stormzy has a mass audience base, with a large demographic,” the source told the tabloid. “Publishers feel his messaging on equality, race and social injustices would be good to translate into a series of children’s books.”

“They have started conversations with his team, and ideas are still being bounced around,” they continued.

“The lucrative deal would see him work with a ghostwriter and illustrator, but be heavily involved. One of the suggested working formats would be for Stormzy to write a chapter then the ghostwriter to do the next.”

Stormzy has recently pledged £10 million to organizations dedicated to supporting the Black community. The sum will be donated over ten years.
