DJ Erick Morillo charged with sexual battery

Erick Morillo, formerly known as Reel 2 Real, has been arrested and charged with sexual battery.

Miami broadcast news station Local 10 reports that the alleged attack happened in December after Morillo and the accuser DJ’d a private party. Morillo had “made several advances towards her, some sexual in nature, but she refused all of his attempts,” the victim told detectives, according to the police report.

She told police that after the party, she and another woman went to his Miami Beach home, where she fell asleep in an empty room after feeling intoxicated. She “reported waking up nude on the bed, with Mr. Morillo standing on the side of the bed also nude.”

Morillo initially denied the accusations but has turned himself in after the results of the rape kit came back positive for his DNA.
