Yu Su showcases mainland Chinese artists on New Forms Digital livestream

Yu Su is curating a series of livestreams for New Forms Festival‘s digital venture.

The Kaifeng-born, Vancouver-based artist is showcasing artists from mainland China for tonight’s livestream, specifically Zaliva-D, a Beijing-based group that has released on SVBKVLT and Knekelhuis, and Knopha, a Shanghai artist whose sound touches on downtempo, ambient, jazz and dub. The latter artist releases through Eating Music, the Shanghai-based label that released a compilation of female artists from China, featuring a track from Yu Su, earlier this year.

Tonight’s two-hour livestream will air on the New Forms Digital website as well as The Lot Radio at 7 PM PDT/10 PM EST/3 AM CET.
