The Emmys usually happen in September but due to the SAG/WGA strikes they were postponed to January. Part One of the Emmys were held on Saturday, night, recognizing “technical and other similar achievements in American television programming,” or all the categories deemed not interesting enough to the general TV viewing public for the main Emmy Awards which will be given out January 15.
