Watch Jason Isbell, James Taylor & Mickey Guyton perform at Democratic National Convention tonight

The 2024 Democratic National Convention just began at Chicago’s United Center and McCormick Place, and in addition to speeches and remarks from President Joe Biden, Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Hillary Clinton, Dr. Jill Biden, and more there will be a little music. On tap Monday: Jason Isbell, James Taylor, and Mickey Guyton.

Isbell will perform his song “Something More Than Free,” while Taylor (who last performed at the DNC in 2012) will be the night’s final performer. Guyton confirmed on Instagram that she’d be performing but is keeping her song selection a surprise.

Each of the four nights of the DNC has its own theme and celebrity host. Night one is “For the People” and the host is actor Tony Goldwyn. The other hosts this week are Ana Navarro on Tuesday, Mindy Kaling on Wednesday, and Kerry Washington on Thursday, when Vice President Kamala Harris officially accepts the Democratic nomination for president).
