Unbelievable! EMF announce first US shows since 1992 in support of new album

EMF, the UK band from the ecstasy fueled early-’90s Madchester / rave scene who gave us 1991 hit “Unbelievable,” have announced their first US shows in 32 years. The tour is in support of their new album The Beauty and the Chaos, which was released back in January. They’re playing Milwaukee Summerfest on June 21, and then head to Detroit (Magic Bag on 6/22) and then Brooklyn (Monarch on 6/23).

The band have been back together since 2012, but hadn’t made a new album since the ’90s until 2022’s Go Go Sapiens; it didn’t take as long to make its follow-up. You can check out “Hello People,” the current single from The Beauty and the Chaos, which features actor Stephen Fry and sounds pretty much like you remember EMF sounding. Watch the video for that, along with “Unbelievable” and a few other vintage clips, below.
