“WEIRD AL” YANKOVIC
“Weird Al” Yankovic, who was just in NYC for Comic Relief Live at Lincoln Center, will be on his Bigger & Weirder tour in 2025, and has added new dates in Richmond, Las Vegas, and Florida shows in St Augustine and Clearwater. The tour hits NYC at Madison Square Garden on July 12 and all dates are here.
SMINO
Fresh off releasing his new album Maybe In Nirvana, St. Louis rapper Smino announced the Kountry Kousins tour with Samara Cyn that runs from April 23 in Vancouver through June in 22 in St Louis. The NYC show is at Terminal 5 on May 31.
SOUL COUGHING
Against all odds, Soul Coughing reunited this year for their first tour in 25 years. If you missed them, they’ve got more dates in 2025.
SHANNON AND THE CLAMS
Shannon and the Clams have announced the Southern Swamp Tour, which happens in April, hitting Houston, Austin, San Antonio, Ft Worth, New Orleans, Tampa, Orlando and Palm Beach. Being Dead open.
JASON ISBELL AND THE 400 UNIT
Jason Isbell already announced a solo tour for early 2024, and after that wraps up in March, he’ll hit the road with his band The 400 Unit. Molly Tuttle & Golden Highway, Band of Horses, and Garrison Starr each join them for select shows, but most are “An Evening With” shows with no opener.
MUSTAFA
Mustafa released his debut album, Dunya, in September, and now he’s announced his first-ever world tour supporting it.
AZIZ ANSARI
Aziz Ansari is returning to the road in 2025. He’s announced a new stand-up tour, the “Hypothetical Tour,” which begins on February 21 in Kansas City and runs through April 19 in Boston, hitting 27 cities.
ELVIS COSTELLO & THE IMPOSTERS W/ CHARLIE SEXTON
Elvis Costello keeps a lot of irons in the fire and regularly mixes it up on tour. In early 2025 he’ll be out with Attractions/Imposters keyboardist Steve Nieve as a duo, and now he’s announced that he’ll be back out this summer for another tour: “Radio Soul!: The Early Songs of Elvis Costello” featuring The Imposters (Nieve, fellow Attractions alum Pete Thomas, and Davey Faragher) and guitarist Charlie Sexton. Setlists will draw from 1977 through 1986 (My Aim is True through Blood and Chocolate).
PANCHIKO
Panchiko, the cult shoegaze band who struck viral success 20 years after breaking up and have become sensations since reforming, have announced a 2025 US tour in support of their upcoming album Ginko.
COHEED & CAMBRIA / MASTODON
Coheed and Cambria and Mastodon have announced a co-headlining tour in May and June with Periphery opening.
JANE REMOVER
Shoegaze/digicore/etc artist Jane Remover will support her upcoming debut album on tour in April and May with Jane’s deadAir labelmate dazegxd on all dates, plus one leg with d0llywood1 and another with Lucy Bedroque.
FREE THROW
Nashville emo band Free Throw will be taking their 2014 debut album Those Days Are Gone on a (slightly belated) 10th anniversary tour in spring of 2025, and they’ll be taking two great newer emo bands along for the ride: Ben Quad and Harrison Gordon.
THE MENZINGERS / LUCERO / QUEEN OF JEANS
The Menzingers have announced a headlining spring tour with Lucero (who they also toured with this year) and Queen of Jeans.
STATIC DRESS / SOUL BLIND
UK post-hardcore band Static Dress have announced their first headlining US tour. Dates are with Soul Blind and start in Brooklyn on April 17 at The Meadows and run through Atlanta on May 11.
A PLACE TO BURY STRANGERS
A Place to Bury Strangers have announced spring tour dates in support of their recently released seventh album, Synthesizer. Most dates are with Cincinnati’s The Serfs, and the first seven shows are with St. Louis synthpunks The Mall.
CRYOGEYSER
LA’s dreamy indie rock band Cryogeyser announced a North American tour this spring. Dates kick off March 27 in Santa Ana and make their way to the East Coast and back, hitting most major US and Canadian cities along the way, including Brooklyn’s Baby’s All Right on April 13.
JOHN GRANT
John Grant has has announced his first North American tour in seven years, happening this spring with dates in Chicago, Minneapolis, Seattle, Vancouver, Portland, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Philadelphia, Boston, DC and Brooklyn.
BEEN STELLAR / MALICE K / ENUMCLAW
Been Stellar, who you may have seen on tour with Fontaines D.C. this year, will ring in 2025 in their hometown of NYC with a free New Year’s Eve show at Gold Sounds which also has Catcher on the bill. Claim your free tickets now. After that, they’ll be on tour in early 2025 with Malice K and Enumclaw, and will head to the UK and Europe in the Spring.
TOTO / CHRISTOPHER CROSS / MEN AT WORK
Toto and Christopher Cross, both of whom featuring prominently in HBO’s new Yacht Rock: A Dockumentary, will be on tour together next summer with Michael McDonald Men at Work.
SATCHVAI BAND (JOE SATRIANI & STEVE VAI)
Guitar gods Joe Satriani and Steve Vai went on the Satch/Vai tour together in 2023, and now they’re taking it further. They are fully joining forces for the first time in one shredding group, forming the SATCHVAI Band who will embark on the “Surfing with the Hydra Tour” in 2025.
