THIRD EYE BLIND

Third Eye Blind have announced the 2024 Summer Gods Tour which will have them out with Yellowcard and A R I Z O N A. Dates begin June 8 in Spokane and run through August 3 in Houston. The tour includes NYC-area shows at Holmdel, NJ’s PNC Bank Arts Center on July 14 and Wantagh, NY’s Jones Beach on July 18.

DEVO

Devo have a couple film-related events happening this month, including a show during Sundance 2024 and a retrospective of their videos and short films at NYC’s MoMA.

SINÉAD O’CONNOR AND SHANE MACGOWAN TRIBUTE @ CARNEGIE HALL

City Winery founder and CEO Michael Dorf is putting together a St. Patrick’s benefit show to honor the late Sinéad O’Connor and Shane MacGowan at Carnegie Hall. The initial lineup includes Cat Power, Glen Hansard, Amanda Palmer, Dropkick Murphys, Eugene Hutz of Gogol Bordello, The Mountain Goats, Bettye Lavette, Julia Cumming of Sunflower Bean, David Gray, Kat Edmonson, and the Resistance Revival Chorus.

CHAOS & CARNAGE 2024 (CATTLE DECAPITATION, MORE)

Cattle Decapitation and Carnifex will headline the 2024 “Chaos & Carnage” tour, which also features Rivers of Nihil, Humanity’s Last Breath, The Zenith Passage, Vitriol and Face Yourself. Dates kick off April 30 in Mesa, AZ and wrap up May 26 in Las Vegas.

ACE FREHLEY

His former KISS bandmates may be going virtual, but you can still see Ace Frehley live and in the flesh. 2024 dates include NYC’s Sony Hall on March 28.

JAYSON GREEN & THE JERK

Jayson Green (Orchid, Panthers, Violent Bullshit, more) has a new project, Jayson Green & The Jerk, who will be releasing a new 12″ this Friday (1/12) via DFA. To celebrate, the band will make its live debut this week in Brooklyn and the lineup includes members of LCD Soundsystem, Les Savy Fav, Holy Ghost!, and more.

BOTTLE ROCK 2024

Napa, CA festival Bottle Rock Napa Valley has announced its 2024 edition, happening on May 24-26 at Napa Valley Expo. Pearl Jam, Stevie Nicks, Maná, and Ed Sheeran headline, and the lineup also features Kali Uchis, Megan Thee Stallion, Queens of the Stone Age, St. Vincent, Norah Jones, The Offspring, My Morning Jacket, T-Pain, Miike Snow, Action Bronson, Gogol Bordello, and more.

MANÁ

Mexcan rock greats Maná will head across the US border for Bottlerock 2024 but the band have lots of other dates, including South America, the UK and Europe.

PISSED JEANS

Pissed Jeans have announced their sixth album, Half Divorced, due out on March 1 via Sub Pop, along with an accompanying tour.

SUN RA ARKESTRA

Sun Ra Arkestra sold out their January 17 show at TV Eye and have added a second date at the venue on January 19.

FAT DOG

South London band Fat Dog signed to Domino last year and have now released their second single for the label and announced US dates surrounding their appearance at SXSW.

BODEGA

Having just announced their third album, NYC’s Bodega will be on tour this year as well.
