SLEATER-KINNEY

Sleater Kinney have announced summer tour dates in support of their new album Little Rope. Things begin June 27 at Milwaukee Summerfest and from there they head to Nashville, Detroit, Cleveland, Pittsburgh, Wilmington, New Haven, Buffalo, Montreal, Toronto and Portland, OR.

PAUL WELLER (THE JAM / STYLE COUNCIL)

Paul Weller has announced a North American tour in support of his upcoming album 66. It’s his first since 2017.

PYLON REENACTMENT SOCIETY

Athens, GA’s Pylon Reenactment Society, the band led by former Pylon singer Vanessa Briscoe Hay, is going on a Northeast tour later this month. Stops include Asheville, DC, Philly, NYC (Knitting Factory on 4/23 with Golden Apples and Robber Robber), Baltimore, Saxapahaw, NC (opening for Teenage Fanclub), and Charlotte.

RIDE

Ride just released their excellent seventh album, Interplay, and will be back in North America in May for dates with Knifeplay. Those don’t include a NYC show (they were here in January with The Charlatans) but they’ve just announced December dates with Rocket, that do include a Brooklyn show.

COACHELLA

The 2024 edition of Coachella starts this Friday, and the festival just announced Weekend 1 set times…and that Vampire Weekend have been added to the lineup.

SYSTEM OF A DOWN / DEFTONES

System of a Down and Deftones are joining forces for a special co-headlining show in San Francisco this summer.

FIDDLEHEAD

Fiddlehead have announced a run of shows, which they say are “probably the closest we will ever get to doing a proper full US tour.”

PORCHES

Aaron Maine just released a new Porches song, and to go with it a new NYC show happening at Brooklyn Steel on November 20.

IS FOR LOVERS 2024

Hawthorne Heights are bringing their nostalgia-heavy multi-city emo festival series, Is For Lovers, back for its third year in 2024. Check out the lineups in all seven cities.

THIS DAY FORWARD

With Circa Survive on hiatus, Colin Frangicetto and Brendan Ekstrom are getting the old band back together, and by old band we mean This Day Forward. The band broke up in 2003 after releasing In Response on Equal Vision that same year, and now they’ve announced their first shows in over 20 years.

NEWPORT JAZZ FEST

The 2024 edition of Newport Jazz Festival happens August 2-4, and they’ve announced the lineup.

FUERZA REGIDA

The fast-rising California-based regional Mexican band Fuerza Regida have announced a US arena tour, dubbed the “Pero No Te Enamores” (“But Don’t Fall in Love”) tour.

COMEDY BANG! BANG!

Once again, Scott Aukerman is taking his long-running podcast Comedy Bang! Bang! on the road for a North American tour. Friend and the show’s most frequent guest, Paul F Tompkins, will appear at all dates along with various “CBB All-Stars” depending on the show and city.

BARRY MANILOW

Former Williamsburg resident Barry Manilow has extended Radio City residency with five more shows from October 9-13. You can also catch him next week at Radio City from April 17-21. Tickets for all Radio City dates are here.

THIEVERY CORPORATION (DATES WITH MATTHEW DEAR)

Chillout vets Thievery Corporation have tour dates ahead, include May shows with Matthew Dear and two September shows at Rockaway Hotel as part of their summer concert series.

THE BODY / DIS FIG

Fresh off releasing their collaborative album Orchards of a Futile Heaven, The Body & Dis Fig have announced a collaborative North American tour, with plans to play Europe and the UK later this year.

DEER TICK

Deer Tick will be on tour this summer, hitting Northeast cities in July and August.

DEEP PURPLE / YES

Hard rock / proto-metal legends Deep Purple began their long goodbye in 2019, and now they’ve announced the ‘1 More Time Tour,’ a US amphitheater tour celebrating over 50 years of “Smoke on the Water” with support from Steve Howe’s current incarnation of prog rock legends Yes.

ROCKAWAY HOTEL SUMMER CONCERT SERIES

The Rockaway Hotel has announced the lineup for its 2024 Summer Concert Series, which runs from May 25 – September 21. This year’s performances include Deer Tick, Lady Lamb, Sun June, Slaughter Beach Dog, and more.

49 WINCHESTER

Castlewood, Virginia country band 49 Winchester have announced a new album, Leavin’ This Holler, and a companion tour.

COLA

Canadian trio Cola, which features former Ought members Tim Darcy and Ben Stidworthy and US Girls drummer Evan Cartwright, will be on tour this summer in support of their upcoming second album.
