MILWAUKEE METAL FEST ADDTIONS

Milwaukee Metal Fest has announced additions to its 2025 lineup, including Black Label Society, Devin Townsend, Enslaved, Suicide Silence, and Macabre. Full lineup is here.

PRIMAVERA SOUND

Barcelona’s Primavera Sound have announced their 2025 lineup which includes Charli XCX, Chappel Roan, Sabrina Carpenter, TV On the Radio, LCD Soundsystem (who may or may not have a new album), Turnstile, and much more.

AMYL AND THE SNIFFERS

Amyl and the Sniffers‘ terrific new album Cartoon Darkness is out today (read our review), and to celebrate they’ve announced a big 2025 North American tour which is with Sheer Mag.

SEBADOH

Sebadoh will play their first show in five years as part of the 13th Annual SMooCH (Seattle Musicians for Children’s Hospital) benefit concert on December 14 at The Showbox in Seattle. More acts are to be announced soon,

EFFIGIES

Chicago punk icons Effigies have announced a memorial show for their late frontman John Kezdy who was tragically killed in a bike accident last year.

DUFF MCKAGAN / LEE VING / JOEY SHITHEAD

Duff McKagan will be celebrating his punk roots on tour this November, including East Coast dates with Fear’s Lee Ving and Pacific Northwest shows with D.O.A.’s Joey Shithead.

TOBE NWIGWE

Rapper, singer and actor Tobe Nwigwe has announced the Home Is Where The Hood Is Tour which will take him across Europe and North America in 2025. The NYC stop is Brooklyn Paramount on March 16.

SPEEDY ORTIZ / OVLOV / GRASS IS GREEN

Boston’s Grass Is Green returned from hiatus earlier this year and were set to play the 2024 edition of NICE, a fest in Somerville, but they wound up cancelling their set due to covid, with Ovlov taking their place. Now Grass is Green, Ovlov, and another of their former Exploding in Sound labelmates, Speedy Ortiz (who Grass is Green guitarist Devin McKnight used to play in) have announced a trio of early 2025 shows, two of which are with “surprise guests.”

GREAT GRANDPA

Great Grandpa, who just released a new song, have announced their first tour in five years.

PRIMAL SCREAM / BAXTER DURY / FAT WHITE FAMILY

Primal Scream will be on tour in the UK and Ireland next spring supporting upcoming album Come Ahead and they’ve announced that openers for all dates will be Baxter Dury and Fat White Family. That’s a killer tripple bill — bring that same lineup to North America, please!

Spirit of the Beehive were forced to cancel the remainder of their tour earlier this month after having their van and gear stolen in SeaTac, WA. They’ve now begun announcing new shows.

OSO OSO

Oso Oso wrap up their tour supporting Tigers Jaw on Long Island this weekend, and they’ve now announced their own headlining tour for December.

GEORDIE GREEP (BLACK MIDI)

Geordie Greep (black midi) will be on tour across North America next year in support of his debut solo album, The New Sound, and he’s added additional shows in NYC, Chicago and Philadelphia.
