RINGO DEATHSTARR

Long-running Austin shoegazers Ringo Deathstarr begin a US tour on Thusday, with dates in May and July. There are two NYC shows on the same night: May 18 at Berlin with Ovlov and The Veldt, and a late Rocks Off Concert Cruise on May 18 with Ovlov.

REDD KROSS / DALE CROVER

Redd Kross have announced their self-titled eighth album, which will be out June 28 via In the Red. It’s their first in five years, an 18-track double-LP which also marks the 45th anniversary of the band, which Jeff & Steve McDonald started when they were 15 and 11 respectively. And yes they will be touring, with Dale Crover as opening DJ.

BILLIE EILISH

Billie Eilish‘s third album, Hit Me Hard and Soft, is out on May 17, and she’s announced a huge tour supporting it, including a North American leg beginning in September.

JUAN WAUTERS

Juan Wauters has dates thoughout Mexico and South America on the horizon as well as a few US shows, including San Francisco’s Cafe Du Nord on July 21, and Bowery Ballroom on August 10.

THE ROLLING STONES

The Rolling Stones kicked off their North American Hackney Diamods tour in Houston on Sunday and head to New Orleans Jazz Fest on May 2. They’ll be in the NYC area for two nights at MetLife Stadium on May 23 & 26.

TEENAGE FANCLUB / EUROS CHILDS / SWEET BABOO

Teenage Fanclub just started their North American tour and played two NYC area shows over the weekend. Welsh musicians Euros Childs and Stephen “Sweet Baboo” Black are pulling double duty as members of the band and, depending on the night, the opening act.

OVERMONO

British dance duo Overmono have announced fall headline dates which they’re calling the Pure Devotion Tour.

MARIA BAMFORD

Comedian Maria Bamford is on a standup tour this spring and summer, and will stop at Brooklyn’s The Bell House on November 1 & 2 with two shows each night.

KNOTFEST

Fresh off a surprise, intimate show in Pioneertown and Sick New World, Slipknot have announced the lineup for their hometown Iowa edition of Knotfest.

FISHBONE

Following public disputes between Fishbone members regarding lineup changes and the rights to the band’s name, Fishbone are no longer on the upcoming Primus and Coheed & Cambria tour.

THE ALARM

The Alarm were set to start their North American tour with Jay Ashton’s Gene Loves Jezebel and Belouis Some on Wednesday in New Orleans, but those dates have been postponed after frontman Mike Peters learned his cancer was back.

MÖTLEY CRÜE

Mötley Crüe recently released “Dogs of War,” their first single in five years (and first without co-founding guitarist Mick Mars), and they’re about to begin a tour that will have them out through the summer. Next week it seems like they might be doing something at NYC’s 450-capacity Bowery Ballroom? We shall see.

TOPS

Montreal’s TOPS have announced fall tour dates, hitting select cities in the US and Canada in October and November.

SPIDER-MAN: ACROSS THE SPIDER-VERSE LIVE IN CONCERT

Composer Daniel Pemberton will be taking his score for 2023’s Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse on tour this year, where the score will be played live against a screening of the film, featuring “an orchestra, a scratch DJ on turntables, percussion and electronic instruments.”
