RIDE
Ride have announced a couple more dates for their upcoming North American tour in support of their new album Interplay, adding stops in Portsmouth, NH and Amherst, MA. Still no new NYC date. Check out their full schedule here.
BUILT TO SPILL ‘THERE’S NOTHING WRONG WITH LOVE’ 30TH ANNIVERSARY SHOWS WITH YO LA TENGO
Built to Spill’s classic second album, There’s Nothing Wrong With Love, turns 30 this fall, and the band will be playing it in full at two Pacific Northwest shows with Yo La Tengo.
SLAYER
Slayer called it quits five years ago but now they’re back. At least for two festivals: Riot Fest and Louder Than Life.
LOUDER THAN LIFE
In addition to Slayer, Louisville fest Louder Than Life also has Mötley Crüe, Militarie Gun, Mastodon, Touché Amoré, Three 6 Mafia, Slipknot, Judas Priest, The Offspring, Sum 41, Biohazard, Gojira, Eagles of Death Metal, Soul Glo, Fugitive, Drug Church, Gel, and more.
FOUR CHORD FEST
Pittsburgh punk festival Four Chord Music Fest returns for its 10th year on June 22 & 23 to the historic Carrie Blast Furnaces. The two-day lineup includes the reunited Something Corporate (whose shows are still very rare), The All-American Rejects, Motion City Soundtrack, The Get Up Kids, The Story So Far, Microwave, Militarie Gun, Koyo, Action/Adventure, and more.
OMARION
Former B2K member Omarion has announced the VBZ on VBZ Tour with Vedo, Tone Stith, Jastin Martin and Wanmor. Dates include Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre on April 11.
COACHELLA SIDE SHOWS
Coachella is coming up in April and some of the artists playing are also doing West Coast headline shows around it that are presented by the festival, including Blur, Taking Back Sunday, Khruangbin and more.
BONNY LIGHT HORSEMAN
Folky trio Bonny Light Horseman announced their second album, and signing to Jagjaguwar, as well as a tour that has them out with Bridget St John and Alpha Consumer.
PERNICE BROTHERS
Pernice Brothers’ new album is out soon, and Joe has added more Northeast solo shows in support.
JOHN MORELAND
Country artist John Moreland will be on tour this spring, starting May 3 in Oklahoma City. Most dates are with Ken Pomeroy, including Woodstock’s Levon Helm Studios on 5/10 and NYC’s Brooklyn Made on 5/11. Head here for all dates.
MIRACLE LEGION
Much-loved ’80s/’90s alt-rock band Miracle Legion are reuniting for Wilco’s Solid Sound Festival and have added an NYC show beforehand.
LOW CUT CONNIE
Low Cut Connie have announced a tour in support of their latest album Art Dealers. The tour, which includes a screening of the Art Dealers companion film, kicks of March 26 in Des Moines and wraps up May 3 in Chapel Hill. Before that, LCC’s Adam Weiner will talk about the record and perform live at NYC’s 92Y on February 29.

MINDFORCE
Mindforce didn’t get to play the first show of their NYC double-header at Saint Vitus on Friday night (2/16) when the venue was shut down before they went on. Promoters Miles to Go said they were “trying to figure out a make up date,” and now they’ve done that.
DAY IN DAY OUT FEST 2024 LINEUP
Seattle’s Day In Day Out festival has announced the lineup for its 2024 edition, which happens July 12-14 at the Seattle Center. The Head and the Heart, Bleachers, and Carly Rae Jepsen headline, and also performing are Men I Trust, Suki Waterhouse, The Walkmen, Amyl & The Sniffers, Washed Out, Beach Fossils, Sir Chloe, Sudan Archives, Mannequin Pussy, Les Savy Fav, Blondshell, Illuminati Hotties, Miya Folick, Grace Ives, and Mali Velasquez. GIRL ON GIRL
Australian band Girl and Girl have announced their debut album, Call a Doctor, which will be out May 24 via Sub Pop. They’ll be over for SXSW and on tour with Royel Otis.
