ORIGAMI ANGEL
Origami Angel have announced a few acoustic in-store performances to celebrate the release of their new album Feeling Not Found. They’ll play NYC’s Rough Trade on 9/26, Philly’s Creep Records on 9/27, and Baltimore’s The Sound Garden on 9/28. The band will be on tour starting in late October including a NYC show at Webster Hall on 11/24.
OASIS
Tickets for Oasis’ 2025 UK/Ireland stadium tour haven’t even gone on presale yet, but they’ve already added more dates.
NEIL YOUNG
Back in June, Neil Young cancelled the final 10 shows of his Love Earth tour, his first tour with Crazy Horse in a decade, citing the need for members of the band to recover from illness. Neil wrote about what happened, adding that he’s planning an East Coast theatre tour.
WEEN
Ween have announced that they will “step away from the stage for the foreseeable future,” and have cancelled their Philadelphia Chocolate and Cheese 25th anniversary show scheduled for TD Pavilion at the Mann on September 27. “Despite three great shows this summer, it’s become clear that touring and performing is too taxing on Deaner’s mental health to continue,” they write. “As always, we thank you for the love, dedication and ongoing support.
DROMFEST 2024
Dromedary Records is holding its second edition of Dromfest this weekend in Hudson NY, featuring Cell, King Missle, Scrawl, The Figgs, Sleepyhead, Aeon Station (ex-Wrens), Antietam, Thalia Zedek, Moviola, and more. Tickets are still available.
CELL (’90S BAND)
In addition to Dromfest, ’90s-era band Cell who released records on Ecstatic Peace and DGC (and not the current metal band from Oklahoma), will play NYC’s Mercury Lounge on September 3 with Poem Rocket. These are their first shows in decades. Meanwhile, Cell released a new single, “Free People,” which they performed live back in the day but never recorded.

COLD WORLD
Cold World will celebrate the 20th anniversary of ‘Ice Grillz’ at a stacked NYC show that’s full of rare sets.
THE BEVIS FROND
UK cult psych greats The Bevis Frond has run into some visa issues, forcing them to reschedule their fall tour to early 2025.
NADA SURF / OFFICE DOG
Nada Surf, whose new album is out is out in a couple weeks, will be on tour with their New West labelmates Office Dog (who have a new EP out in September too) starting October 2 in Washington, DC and soon after will play NYC’s Webster Hall on October 4.
SPARTA
Sparta will celebrate 20 years of their second LP, Porcelain, on tour in North America this fall.
THE MUMMIES
California’s Kings of Budget Rock, The Mummies, are always busy during spooky season, and this year is no different.
WUSSY DUO
Lisa Walker and Chuck Cleaver of twangy indie rock vets Wussy will be going on a living room tour this fall as Wussy Duo, hitting Lexington, Columbus, St. Louis, Rockford, Evanston, Berwyn, Cleveland, Dayton and Cincinnati. To celebrate, they’ve also shared this lovely cover of Bill Fay’s “I Hear You Calling.”

FCUKERS
NYC electro band Fcukers release their debut EP in a couple weeks and have tour dates through the fall, including a NYC release show and UK dates with Confidence Man.
EKKO ASTRAL
Ekko Astral have announced their final headlining shows of 2024, happening in Baltimore, Brooklyn, and Philadelphia. They’re calling each date “an evening of mascara moshpit” and promising “stacked bills, new music, deep cuts,” and “special surprises at each show.”
THE LADYBUG TRANSISTOR
Long-running Brooklyn baroque pop band The Ladybug Transistor announced December dates celebrating the 25th anniversary of their third album The Albemarle Sound.
