WHITMER THOMAS

Comedian and musician Whitmen Thomas will be on tour this summer with shows in Los Angeles, Brooklyn (Union Hall on July 16 with early and late shows), Pittsburgh, Louisville, St Louis, Denver and more.

BLADEE

Swedish rapper/singer (and Drain Gang member) Bladee is having a busy year. He recently released a collaborative album with Yung Lean, Psykos, followed by his own new album, Cold Visions, and now he announced a run of North American shows.

GEL / MSPAINT

GEL have announced a fall tour with with their former Convulse Records labelmates MSPAINT and Destiny Bond, and most dates also feature St. Louis synthpunks (and past MSPAINT tourmates) The Mall.

BECK

Beck will be spending his July playing shows in select cities where he and his band will be backed by local orchestras.

BRIAN POSEHN

Comedian, Mr Show alumn and metalhead Brian Posehn has tour dates this spring and summer, including this weekend opening for Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler in L.A. His schedule also includes shows in Nashville, New Orleans, Boston, Denver, NYC (The Loft at City Winery on 9/21, early and late), and more.

TIRZAH

Tirzah was forced to cancel her fall 2023 North American tour after getting pneumonia, but she’s announced she’ll return to the US for a new round of shows this summer.

MICK JENKINS

Chicago rapper Mick Jenkins‘ 2014 breakthrough mixtape The Water[s] turns 10 this summer, and Mick will be celebrating the anniversary across four shows in two nights in NYC.

LIANNE LA HAVAS

British singer-songwriter Lianne La Havas will be crossing the pond for a few US shows in July, hitting DC’s The Atlantis on 7/28 and then heading to NYC for shows at Webster Hall on 7/30 and St. Ann & The Holy Trinity Church on 7/31. She’s also got dates in Spain, Portugal, and more.

ACETONE

Nineties-era slowcore adjacent band Acetone broke up in 2001 following the suicide of singer/bassist Richie Lee, but drummer Steve Hadley and guitarist Mark Lightcap have been performing shows occasionally since 2017 and will be heading to NYC for three Brooklyn shows where they’ll be joined by special guests for sets of Acetone classics.

ANIKA PYLE

Anika Pyle (formerly of Chumped) released her new EP Four Corners back in February, and she’s announced a few East Coast shows in June supporting it.

THURSDAY

Thursday have announced some intimate headlining shows happening in between their appearances at Hawthorne Heights’ Is For Lovers festivals and 20 Years of Tears tour.

LUNA LI

Luna Li announced her new album, When a Thought Grows Wings, last week, and now she’s announced a tour supporting it.

BUMBERSHOOT

After celebrating its 50th anniversary last year, Seattle festival Bumbershoot will return this Labor Day weekend, on August 31 – September 1 at Seattle Center. The 2024 lineup includes Pavement, James Blake, Kurt Vile & The Violators, Courtney Barnett, Freddie Gibbs, Kim Gordon, and more.

SAVES THE DAY / SENSES FAIL

New Jersey emo bands Saves The Day and Senses Fail, who previously teamed up for a Misfits covers split in 2020, have now announced the “New Jersey Vs. The World Tour.”

SAVE FERRIS

Nineties ska vets Save Ferris have dates this spring and summer, including a Brooklyn show at Elsewhere Rooftop on August 13.

DROPKICK MURPHYS

Celtic punk vets Dropkick Murphys have announced a North American tour tour with fellow punk vets Pennywise and Dublin-based Celtic folk rockers The Scratch.

COSMIC PSYCHOS

Aussie punk icons Cosmic Psychos are in the US starting Memorial Day Weekend, when they’ll play Punk Rock Bowling in Las Vegas. After that, they’ll head out on tour.

DAVID CROSS

David Cross will be on the “The End of the Beginning of the End Tour” this fall. Sean Patton will be along for most dates, with Shane Torres opening in San Diego and Oakland.

BAND OF HORSES / CITY AND COLOUR

Band of Horses have announced a round of shows with City and Colour.
