KNOCKED LOOSE ADD THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER TO SHOWS

Knocked Loose just keep adding more great artists to their already-stacked tour with Drain, Militarie Gun, and The Garden. After adding Danny Brown and Hatebreed to select dates, they just revealed that they’ll be joined by melodic death metal vets The Black Dahlia Murder in Grand Rapids and Wichita (alongside Drain and Militarie Gun, sans The Garden). TBDM also just released their very good new album Servitude, their first new album since the death of original vocalist Trevor Strnad.

THE CURE

The Cure will play two London shows surrounding the release of their new album Songs of a Lost World. As for a tour, Robert Smith told Uncut that they’ll hit the road in the fall of 2025 and be out playing shows through 2028 which marks the 50th anniversary of the band.

MASSIVE ATTACK

Teardrop, indeed. Massive Attack have canceled their five-date US run — their first shows here in five years — less than a week before they were set to start, due to “unforeseen circumstances.”

FONTAINES DC

Fontaines DC are winding down their North American tour in support of their great new album ROMANCE. They play Toronto tonight, Montreal on Saturday and Boston on Sunday, then hit NYC for two shows at Brooklyn Paramount on Tuesday (10/15) and Wednesday (10/16). From there they head to DC for two shows and wrap things up in Philly on October 20. Been Stellar open all shows.

DESTROYER / KATIE VON SCHLEICHER / FORTUNATO DURUTTI MILANETTI

Dan Bejar begins his West Coast solo Destroyer tour on Saturday, October 12 in Spokane, WA and from there heads to Tacoma, Eugene, Sacramento, Santa Cruz, San Luis Obispo, Ojai, and finally Las Vegas on 10/20. All those dates are with Katie Von Schleicher. Then he’ll hit the East Coast with Fortunato Durutti Milanetti starting 10/23 in Portsmouth, NH, from there hitting Fairfield, Amherst, Homer, and Dartmouth before crossing the Canadian border to play Ontario shows in Kingston, Ottawa, and Hamilton.

THE CHAMELEONS

Post-punk greats The Chameleons just released the Tomorrow Remember Yesterday EP, which features new version of some of their songs. (Listen below.) They’ll be back in the US for more dates starting October 18 in Chicago. They’ll also play Detroit, Nashville, Birmingham, Winston-Salem, Tampa, New Orleans and more before wraping up their tour in Indianapolis on November 6.

JORJA SMITH

Jorja Smith has announced a new run of tour dates supporting her most recent album, 2023’s falling or flying.

THE ROOTS

The Roots will play NYC’s Irving Plaza on Tuesday (10/15), which is a benefit for WhyHunger, a non-profit working to end hunger, with Grace Bowers & The Hodge Podge and more TBA. The Roots also have upcoming dates in Japan, New Zealand and Australia.

SIDNEY GISH HURRICANE HELENE BENEFIT

Sidney Gish will play a Hurricane Helene relief benefit on Saturday (10/12) at Baby’s All Right with Hiding Places, Office Culture (solo), Adelyn Strei (solo), Leah Rando, and more TBA. Proceeds go to Beloved Asheville.
