J MASCIS

Dinosaur Jr’s J Mascis postponed his Northeast November solo dates to February, and they now happen on February 8 at The Sinclair in Cambridge, February 12 at Underground Arts in Philly, and February 13 at Racket in NYC. The NYC and Philly shows are with Pink Mountaintops.

SILENT MAJORITY

Long Island melodic hardcore pioneers Silent Majority have added a third Long Island show at Amityville Music Hall on March 9, and this one is with Indecision, The Warped Weeble Wobbles and “Friends”, and Family Dinner. Their 3/7 and 3/8 AMH shows are sold out.

SAETIA

Screamo legends Saetia just released their first new music in 26 years, the title track to their new EP, Tendrils, and they also said they’d be playing release shows. Those have now been officially announced.

SKINNY LISTER

London-based celtic folk-punk group Skinny Lister will be on tour later this winter, kicking things off on Valentine’s Day in Mechanicsburg, PA and wrapping things up in Cambridge, MA on March. The tour includes a NYC show at TV Eye on February 28.

CORONER / DECEASED

Swedish thrash vets Coroner will be visiting the US in March for a tour with Deceased. Dates include a Brooklyn show at The Meadows on 3/7.

WHORES. / FACET

Atlanta sludge metallers Whores. have announced a tour with Facet that gets underway February 8 in their hometown and comes to a grinding halt on March 22 in Chapel Hill, with a stop in NYC at TV Eye on March 18.

PORTRAYAL OF GUILT

Texas black metal vets Portrayal of Guilt have announced a short Northeast run happnening in February surrounding their appearance at the Boston’s Something in the Way festival. They’ll play NYC’s TV Eye on 2/1 with Taraneh, Rabbit, and Heretic Bodyhammer before the fest, and Philly’s Ukie Club on 2/3 with Gouge Away and Gumm.

Gouge Away and Gumm will be on tour together starting just before these dates and play Brooklyn’s Music Hall of Williamsburg on February 4 (which is with co-headliner Hotline TNT).

SMOKING POPES

Smoking Popes, who recently released a protest song with Local H’s Scott Lucas, also have a new album on the way and will be touring for the 30th anniversary of their classic album Born to Quit.

CASSIE RAMONE

Vivian Girls’ Cassie Ramone, who released her first solo album in five years in 2024, will be playing a Brooklyn show at Alphaville on January 18. She calls it a record release show and it’s with Shower Curtain and Lightheaded. It’s her only upcoming date at the moment.

COWBOY JUNKIES

Cowboy Junkies are celebrating 40 years together and have announced a few Northeast shows in February, including NYC’s Sony Hall on 2/18.

DARYL JOHNS

Bassist and songwriter Daryl Johns, who released his debut album via Mac DeMarco’s Mac’s Record Label, will be in NYC for three shows this month including a sold out show at Baby’s All Right and two more-recently added gigs at the just-opened Nightclub 101 on January 9 and 12.

KRALLICE & Dysrhythmia

NYC avant-garde black metal groups Krallice & Dysrhythmia have announce a couple live dates happening in February. They’ll play a hometown show at Le Poisson Rouge on February 6 with Kelly Moran, and then they head to Philly for the Subterranean Dissonance Fest on February 7 with Thou, Young Widows, and more.

ULTHAR

West Coast death metal combo Ulthar will will be on a Northeast tour of the US and Canada this spring with dates including Brooklyn (Gold Sounds on 3/22 with Grotesqueries), Montreal, Toronto, Chicago, Fort Wayne, Baltimore, and more.

UNDERGANG

Copenhagen death metal vets Undergang have announced the second half of their North American Regurgitation tour, which has them out with Torture Rack. The Brooklyn show is at The Meadows on March 29.
