SHABOOZEY

Nashville country artist Shaboozey has announced a tour in support of his new album Where I’ve Been, Isn’t Where I’m Going which kicks off September 9 in Minneapolis and hits Chicago, Toronto, Quebec City, Boston, NYC (Brooklyn Steel on 9/17), DC, Atlanta, Denver and Los Angeles.

EMPIRE OF THE SUN

Luke Steel’s pop band Empire of the Sun will release their fourth album (and first in eight years), Ask That God, on July 26. In support they’ve announced three North American headline shows: Guadalajara’s Auditorio Telmex on November 19, Los Angeles’ Hollywood Bowl on November 23, and Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre on November 26.

LAURYN HILL & THE FUGEES

Lauryn Hill postponed some dates on her tour with The Fugees last year due to vocal strain, but she’s now announced a new run of shows this summer and fall, continuing her celebration of the 25th anniversary of The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, with The Fugees once again co-headlining.

SABRINA CARPENTER

“Espresso” singer Sabrina Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet Tour is getting longer as she’s added more dates and is now playing two NYC shows; Madison Square Garden on 9/29 and Barclays Center on 9/30. She’s also got two LA shows now: Crypto.com Arena on 11/15 and Kia Forum on 11/17.

THEY MIGHT BE GIANTS

They Might Be Giants will close out their 2024 with a few Northeast dates they’re calling The Big Show Tour, hitting Philly, DC, Brooklyn and Boston in December.

NAIMA BOCK

UK singer-songwriter Naima Bock is following up her fantastic 2022 solo debut with her second album, Below a Massive Dark Land, on September 27 via Sub Pop. She’s also announced a few US dates.

CRAIG FINN (THE HOLD STEADY)

The Hold Steady‘s Craig Finn will be on a solo tour this fall. He’s announced new US, UK, and European legs of his “This Is What It Looks Like: Solo Songs & Stories” tour.

CLOUD NOTHINGS

Cloud Nothings are celebrating 10 years of their 2014 album Here and Nowhere Else on tour this year, playing the album in full along with “a bunch of other tunes.”

NEW ENGLAND METAL & HARDCORE FEST 2024

The 2024 edition of New England Metal & Hardcore Fest happens September 21 & 22 at Worcester, MA’s Palladium Outdoors and they’ve added Bleeding Through, END, Overcast, and Terror to the lineup, which also includes previously announced acts Slaughter to Prevail, Suicidal Tendencies, As I Lay Dying, and more. They’ve also announced daily lineups and all info is here.

MUTILATION BARBECUE & IGNOMINIOUS

Cleveland death metal band Mutilation Barbecue released their debut album on Maggot Stomp in March, and are now heading out on late-June and July tour in support. Many of the dates are with fellow Ohio death metalters Ignominious, though they leave the tour before it ends on July 20 at Lucky 13 in Brooklyn on a bill with Bowel Erosion, Glorious Depravity, and more. Ignominious meanwhile also have separate dates of their own.

THE FRONT BOTTOMS

The Front Bottoms announced a fall US tour called the “Finding Your Way Home Tour.”

JENNY SLATE

Comedian Jenny Slate will release her second memoir, Lifeform, on October 22, and she’ll be going on tour to promote it.

ROBYN HITCHCOCK

Robyn Hitchcock will release his memoir, 1967: How I Got There and Why I Never Left, on July 2 via Akshik in the US and Little Brown in the UK. In support he’s got a handful of US events where he’ll talk about the book, read from it and maybe play a song or two.

ALLEGRA KREGER / GREG MENDEZ

Allegra Krieger will release new album, Art of the Unseen Infinity Machine, on September 13 and will tour this fall with Greg Mendez.

BONE THUGS-N-HARMONY

Veteran Ohio rap group Bone Thugs-N-Harmony are playing some shows this year, some of which are billed in celebration of the 30th anniversary of their 1994 debut single “Thuggish Ruggish Bone.”
