NICK LOWE & LOS STRAITJACKETS
Nick Lowe and Los Straitjackets are extending their Indoor Safari tour into 2025 and to the West Coast. Stops include Los Angeles, San Francico, Napa, Mill Valley, Portland, Seattle and Vancouver.
MY CHEMICAL ROMANCE
My Chemical Romance have announced a tour where they’ll perform The Black Parade in full in 10 cities across North America in 2025. Each date has a different opener, and the list of bands they’ve lined up is amazing.
FONTAINES D.C.
Fontaines D.C. will be back in North America this spring and have added a few more dates to the tour.
THE WEDDING PRESENT / THE TUBS
UK indie vets The Wedding Present will be on their first tour of North America in seven years this spring to celebrate the 35th anniversary of their second album, Bizarro, and they’re bringing young UK group The Tubs with them for a very appealing double bill.
BIG EARS
Big Ears has added a few exciting artists to their 2025 lineup, including Portishead’s Beth Gibbons (her first announced solo show here), Julien Baker & TORRES (who have an album on the way), and more.
DUKI
Argentine trap star Duki will tour North America in the spring, including a NYC stop at The Theatre at Madison Square Garden on May 3.
THE GET UP KIDS
The Get Up Kids have announced even more Something to Write Home About 25th anniversary dates, and this upcoming February/March leg features support from two other late ’90s/early 2000s indie-emo veterans, Hot Rod Circuit and TGUK’s old Midwest friends The Anniversary.
BRIGHT EYES
Bright Eyes have added more dates to their 2025 tour, and announced that Hurray for the Riff Raff will join them in late February and March, and their old Saddle Creek labelmates Cursive will join them in April.
COUNTERPARTS
Ontario melodic hardcore metalcore band Counterparts surprise-released their new EP Heaven Let Them Die on Pure Noise last week, and today they’ve announced a 2025 headlining tour with a pretty stacked support lineup of other hardcore/metalcore bands: Pain of Truth, Malevolence, and Foreign Hands.
MACHINE HEAD / IN FLAMES
Machine Head and In Flames are headed on a North American tour this spring with Lacuna Coil and Unearth.
KELLY LEE OWENS
Kelly Lee Owens just released her new album Dreamstate and has announced a few spring US tour dates ahead of her appearance at Mexico City festival Axe Ceremonia.
CHROMEO
Chromeo are on a DJ tour in December, hitting Mexico City, Nashville, Seattle, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Portland and Miami before closing out 2024 with a New Year’s Eve set at Brooklyn rollerskating club Xanadu.
JASON ISBELL
Jason Isbell has added more shows to his “An Intimate Evening with Jason Isbell” tour.
ST VINCENT
St. Vincent has announced a new run of US shows in the spring, surrounding her dates supporting Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, plus a couple Latin American shows opening for Olivia Rodrigo.
CHRISTIAN LEE HUTSON / ALLEGRA KRIEGER
Christian Lee Hutson released his fantastic new album Paradise Pop. 10 in September, and he’s announced a 2025 tour supporting it. Shows begin on January 20 in Las Vegas and Allegra Krieger opens all but the last five shows.
NOISE POP 2025
Multi-venue San Francisco festival Noise Pop will return for its 2025 edition on Thursday, February 20 – Sunday, March 2 at venues throughout the city. They’ve announced the phase one lineup, which is headlined by American Football, Soccer Mommy, and Lankum. Check out all the announced acts here.
GOUGE AWAY
Gouge Away will be on tour in February, including dates with Gumm and Hotline TNT.
MOVEMENTS / CITIZEN / SCOWL / DOWNWARD
Orange County emo/post-hardcore band Movements will hit the road in March/April 2025 with support from Citizen, Scowl, and Downward.
GZA / LETTUCE
GZA and Lettuce are teaming up for a few 2025 co-headline shows where GZA will perform Liquid Swords in full. Stops include Los Angeles, Oakland, Pittsburgh, DC, NYC and more.
EXPERIENCE HENDRIX 2025
The 2025 edition of the Jimi Hendrix tribute “Experience Hendrix” tour will features a band made up of Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Zakk Wylde (Pantera, Black Label Society, Ozzy Osbourne), Eric Johnson, Devon Allman (Allman Betts Family Revival), Samantha Fish, Christone ‘Kingfish’ Ingram, Marcus King, and more. The tour begins March 11 in Cincinnati and wraps up April 12 in Atlanta.
CHIODOS
Chiodos just recently announced a 20th anniversary tour for their 2005 debut album All’s Well That Ends Well with mid-aughts emo hitmakers Hawthorne Heights, metalcore vets Emmure, and mathcore experimentalists The Callous Daoboys, and now they added two more dates.
ARMOR FOR SLEEP
NJ emo vets Armor For Sleep announced that they’ll play their 2005 concept album What to Do When You Are Dead in full on a 2025 tour with support from fellow mid-2000s emo vets Boys Night Out and Hellogoodbye.
ANBERLIN / COPELAND
Anberlin and Copeland will play their respective 2005 albums Never Take Friendship Personal and In Motion in full on a 2025 tour together for their 20th anniversary, and fellow emo-pop vets Spitalfield are on part of that tour too.
