BLACK PUMAS
Black Pumas have just announced more dates for their summer tour, including Port Chester’s Capitol Theatre on August 1, as well as Boston, Atlantic City (with Durand Jones), De Moines, Madison and Charleston, SC. The band’s tour also includes a previously announced NYC show at Brooklyn Paramount on July 30.
CULTS
Cults will be on tour with Vampire Weekend starting in September, and before that they’ll be out on their own headlining tour with support from Bnny.
CNTS
CNTS, which includes members of Dead Cross, Qui, and Retox, will be on tour starting May 9 in support of their new album Thoughts & Prayers. Dates include Brooklyn’s Gold Sounds on June 1 (with Barrsheadahl and Chaser) and an appearance at Minneapolis’ Caterwaul Festival.
CATERWAUL FEST 2024
Speaking of Caterwaul, the 2024 lineup to the Minneapolis festival includes Brainiac, Oxbow, Whores., J. Robbins Band, Couch Slut, Gaswar, Art Gray Noizz Quintet, Ganser, Thrones, Thrones, Vestments, and more.
PART CHIMP
Also playing Caterwaul are UK noise rock greats Part Chimp who will tour North America on their way there.
OPETH
Opeth haven’t released an album since 2019’s In Cauda Venenum, but maybe something is stirring, as they’ve just announced an extensive North American tour for this fall.
DEATH FROM ABOVE 1979
Canadian dancepunk duo Death From Above 1979 have announced fall tour dates celebrating the 20th anniversary of their debut album You’re a Woman, I’m a Machine. They include NYC-area shows with NOBRO and the rest of the tour with Teen Mortgage.
FEAR / D.O.A. / GIUDA
Just a couple months after LA punk/hardcore legends Fear play No Values fest in Pomona, they’ll go on a short summer US tour that finds them joined by fellow punk veterans D.O.A. and Italian glam punks Giuda (who haven’t played the US since before COVID).
PREVIOUS INDUSTRIES (OPEN MIKE EAGLE)
Frequent collaborators Open Mike Eagle, Video Dave and Still Rift made their debut as Previous Industries earlier this year, releasing a few singles on Merge, and now they’ve announced the group’s debut album and a tour.
TILL LINDEMANN (RAMMSTEIN)
Rammstein frontman Till Lindemann has announced his first-ever North American solo tour. Dates kick off September 17 in San Antonio and wrap up October 14 in Los Angeles. Twin Temple and Aesthetic Perfection are openers and all dates.
OUTSIDE LANDS 2024
San Francisco festival Outside Lands will return for its 16th edition on August 9-11 at Golden Gate Park, and this year’s lineup includes headliners Tyer, The Creator, The Killers and Sturgill Simpson, plus Post Malone (playing a “special country set”), The Postal Service, Grace Jones, Kaytranada, JUNGLE, Snoh Aalegra, ScHoolboy Q, Slowdive, Killer Mike, TV Girl, Chappell Roan, Channel Tres, Men I Trust, Amyl and The Sniffers, Kevin Abstract, The Japanese House, Romy, The Last Dinner Party, and more.
OHANA FEST 2024
Eddie Vedder‘s Dana Point, CA fest Ohana Festival will return for its 2024 edition on September 27-29 at Doheny State Beach. Pearl Jam will headline two nights, Friday (9/27) and Sunday (9/29), as they celebrate their new album Dark Matter, and Neil Young & Crazy Horse headline Saturday (9/28). Check out the full lineup.
SUMMERSTAGE 2024
SummerStage has announced its 2024 lineup of free shows, happening at parks throughout NYC’s five boroughs from May through October. Those include MIKE’s Young World IV, Kim Gordon & Sun Ra Arkestra, Arooj Aftab, Funk Flex‘s Birthday Party, The Pharcyde, Sister Nancy, Priya Ragu, and more.

Brittany Howard and Michael Kiwanuka have announced a co-headlining fall tour where they will trade off who goes first and second, depending on the date, with Yasmin Williams opening all shows.
SUPERCHUNK
Superchunk‘s fourth album, Foolish, turns 30 this week, and to celebrate the band have announced fall tour dates where they will highlight songs off that album.
A GREAT BIG PILE OF LEAVES
Brooklyn’s mathy A Great Big Pile of Leaves will perform their debut album Have You Seen My Prefrontal Cortex? in full at a hometown show this summer at Racket on July 13. The band’s only other show at the moment is also a Cortex? show happening at Philly’s Underground Arts on Saturday, April 27.
BOUNCING SOULS’ STOKED FOR SUMMER 2024
The Bouncing Souls have announced the lineup for their annual Asbury Park, NJ “Stoked for the Summer” show. This year’s happens on July 20 at Stone Pony Summer Stage, where they’ll be joined by The Vandals, The Dead Milkmen, Sheer Mag, Catch 22, and Des & The Swagmatics.
BORIS / STARCRAWLER
Boris will play their 1998 debut album in full on a lengthy US tour this fall with Starcrawler.
DRUG CHURCH
Drug Church are playing Long Island and New Jersey this June, surrounding some festival appearances.
MEGADETH
Megadeth’s “Destroy All Enemies” tour runs through 33 cities in August and September with Mudvayne and All That Remains.
SOUTH STAR FEST
South Star Festival is a new music festival coming to Huntsville, Alabama on September 28 & 29 in John Hunt Park. The headliners are blink-182 and Gwen Stefani, and the lineup also includes Jimmy Eat World, Jane’s Addiction, Beck, Sublime, Goo Goo Dolls, Gin Blossoms, TLC, Juvenile, Ludacris, Big Boi, Vanessa Carlton, and more.
SHENG WANG
ComedianSheng Wang, who released the Netflix special Sweet and Juicy last year, is on the road now and has standup dates lined up through the fall. He’s just added more shows, including a third in NYC.
CORRIDOR
Corridor were just in NYC over the weekend for Indieplaza and have now announced they’ll be back to open for Protomartyr at Brooklyn’s Warsaw on June 14.
ZSELA
Zsela (daughter of Chocolate Genius Inc’s Mark Anthony Thompson) has announced her debut album, Big For You, and a tour supporting it.
LAMBRINI GIRLS
Brighton, UK post-punk duo Lambrini Girls will be in North America this year including headline dates and ones opening for Amyl & The Sniffers.
WILD NOTHING / PEEL DREAM MAGAZINE / MAMALARKY
Wild Nothing has announced a summer tour where Peel Dream Magazine will open most dates, with Mamalarky on the three California shows.
LOVE CHILD
Alan Licht, Brendan O’Malley, and Rebecca Odes will play their first show as Love Child since the early-’90s in celebration of new band comp Never Meant to Be.
JESSE MALIN BENEFIT
The NYC Jesse Malin benefit show previously scheduled for Saturday, April 27 at Tompkins Square Park has been moved to Friday, April 26 at Irving Plaza. You can attend by making a donation at the box office, and the lineup includes Gogol Bordello, Madball, Murphy’s Law, The Capturers, War Orphan, and Crazy & The Brains.
DIVIDE & DISSOLVE
Divide and Dissolve recently wrapped up dates opening for Chelsea Wolfe, and now they’ve announced their own North American headline tour.
