BRAINIAC

Ohio art-punk greats Brainiac, whose surviving members reunited a few years ago, will tour the South in February, hitting Atlanta, Birmingham, Houston, San Antonio, Austin, Dallas and Memphis. Lung will open all shows except Memphis, which also has Margin Walker on the bill.

GREEN DAY

Green Day‘s upcoming stadium tour was already announced as a celebration of the 30th anniversary of Dookie and the 20th anniversary of American Idiot, and now they’ve explained what that means: they’ll be playing both albums in full at the shows.

TAKING BACK SUNDAY

The 2024 lineup of Las Vegas festival When We Were Young was already stacked with over 50 bands performing albums in full, and now they’ve added one more. Taking Back Sunday will play their classic 2002 debut Tell All Your Friends at both days of the festival. They’re also playing Coachella.

TURNOVER / MSPAINT

Turnover have announced a March US tour, where they’ll be joined by Mississippi synthpunks MSPAINT and another dream-poppy Virginia band, Drook. The shows begin in Jersey City, NJ (White Eagle Hall on March 4) and wrap up in Charleston, SC on March 26.

LESS THAN JAKE

Less Than Jake will soon head out on the ‘Return to Rockview’ tour, which finds them playing 1998’s Hello Rockview in full, in March with Strung Out and The Raging Nathans opening.

BEN HOWARD

English singer-songwriter Ben Howard will support his latest album, Is It?, on tour this summer. Dates kick off in Montreal on July 12 and include stops in Toronto, Boston, NYC (Brooklyn Steel on 7/18), Philly, DC and Denver.

ADRIANNE LENKER

Big Thief‘s Adrianne Lenker will tour for her just-announced new solo album, Bright Future, starting in May.

ORBITAL

UK techno icons Orbital will be in the US this spring for Coachella, but Paul and Phil Hartnoll will be in the US before that with headline shows in NYC and Chicago and an appearance at Miami’s Ultra. There are two NYC shows, one of which has them playing their first two albums in full.

TODD RUNDGREN

The one and only Todd Rundgren has announced spring tour dates that have him out from April through June with stops in Minneapolis, Detrot, Cincinnati, Pittsburgh, Atlantic City, Boston, DC, Nashville, and “>more.

EXPLOSIONS IN THE SKY

Having wrapped up their 2023 touring with a pair of intimate NYC shows, Explosions in the Sky are about to head back out on the road. Their winter tour is in continued support of their first album in seven years, last year’s End, and includes two Los Angeles dates, at The Wiltern on January 24 and 25.

DARK STAR ORCHESTRA

Preiminent Pink Floyd tribute band Dark Star Orchestra are on tour as we speak and have added East Coast dates, including Montclair NJ’s Wellmont Theater on March 22 & 23.

PAUL F TOMPKINS’ VARIETOPIA

Comedian, actor and podcaster Paul F Tompkins will be taking his 21st century variety show, Varietopia, on tour soon. Things begin at SF Sketchfest, and they’ve got dates lined up through the fall, including stops in Portland, LA, Boston, Philly, Cleveland, Chicago, and more. There are two nights at Brooklyn’s The Bell House on April 26 & 27 with early and late shows both nights.

SAM EVIAN

Musician and in-demand producer Sam Evian has announced his new album, Plunge, and a North American tour.

JULIAN LAGE

Guitar virtuoso Julian Lage will support his new album Speak to Me on tour this spring.
