KILL LINCOLN

Modern ska-punk greats Kill Lincoln’s tour with The Suicide Machines, HEY-SMITH, and Bad Operation hits NYC’s Brooklyn Made on September 12 with The Planet Smashers also on the bill, and they just announced that, after that tour, they’ll play NJ’s Salty’s Beach Bar on September 14 with NJ ska-corers The UpFux. LEVITATION 2024

The 2024 edition of Austin’s Levitation Fest goes down Halloween Weekend and the lineup is pretty, pretty good.

ANTHONY GREEN

Anthony Green (of Circa Survive, L.S. Dunes, The Sound of Animals Fighting, and more) just released new album Boom. Spun, and he’ll be doing a few in-stores to celebrate: June 30 in Philly, July 3 in Doylestown, PA and July 5 in NYC (Rough Trade).

NOFX TOUR OPENERS

NOFX are in the midst of what they say are their last shows ever, and they’ve now unveiling the support bands for their club shows.

NEIL YOUNG AND CRAZY HORSE

Neil Young & Crazy Horse have canceled the remaining 10 dates of their Love Earth tour, which was their first in a decade. They had already postponed May shows in Chicago, Austin and Dallas due to illness, following their May 22 show in Detroit. “Health is # 1,” Neil says.

MDOU MOCTAR

Tuareg musician Mdou Moctar wrap up their North American tour this weekend but will be back this fall, including another NYC-area show.

BOMBINO

Having just joined Mdou Moctar on stage in Brooklyn, fellow Tuareg artist Bombino will start his North American tour on Friday in NYC.

MAJICAL CLOUDZ’ DEVON WELSH SUPPORTING COLA

Montreal band Cola start their summer tour in support of their new album The Gloss starting July 5, and they’ve just announced they’ll be bringing old friend and Montreal neighbor Devon Welsh of Majical Cloudz on tour to open the shows. That includes NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on July 17.

KATE BOLLINGER

Kate’s debut album Songs From A Thousand Frames of Mind is out September 20 via Ghostly, and she’s just announced a fall tour.

SINGLE MOTHERS (PLAYING NEGATIVE QUALITIES) w/ GUMM, D.O.A., BIRDS IN ROW, SPITE HOUSE, MORE

Canadian punks Single Mothers are celebrating the 10th anniversary of their first full-length, 2014’s Negative Qualities, by playing it in full on a lengthy North American tour. That includes shows with a lot of other good punk/hardcore bands, varying by date, including Birds In Row, Botfly, Spite House, Broadway Calls, D.O.A., Monk, Elway, The Carolyn, and Gumm. The run with Gumm hits NJ’s Salty’s Beach Bar on November 1 and Brooklyn’s Gold Sounds on November 2. All tickets here.

OVLOV

Ovlov are opening the Pity Sex reunion show at NYC’s Bowery Ballroom on August 17, the East Coast Basement comeback shows (including NYC’s Webster Hall on September 29), and a few Mannequin Pussy shows, and now they also added their own show happening in Brooklyn on July 28 at Baby’s All Right with special guests.

SUMMERSTAGE FREE SHOWS

Having announced their initial lineup of free shows in parks throughout NYC’s five boroughs back in April, SummerStage has revealed the lineup for some events that were previously TBA, including Common, Pete Rock, DMC & Friends, serpentwithfeet, and more.

JESSE MALIN

Earlier this week, Jesse Malin announced his return to the stage for the first time since suffering a rare spinal-cord stroke that left him paralyzed from the waist down. The first of his guest-filled benefit shows at Beacon Theatre sold out so he’s added a second.

BUMBERSHOOT 2024

Seattle festival Bumbershoot returns on Labor Day weekend, August 31-September 1 at Seattle Center, and they’ve broken down the 2024 lineup by day.

EBO TAYLOR & PAT THOMAS

Ghanaian musician and highlife/afrobeat legend Ebo Taylor will be on tour this fall with longtime collaborator and artist in his own right, Pat Thomas.
