Touché Amoré played a surprise set at Sound and Fury (videos)

Touché Amoré have been posting photos and videos from the studio to their social media, presumably hinting that LP6 is on the way, but they took a break from that to play a surprise, secret set on Saturday (7/13) at the great LA hardcore festival Sound and Fury, a fest that they played multiple epic sets at when they were coming up in the late 2000s and early 2010s. They played just four songs, opening with Stage Four‘s “Flowers and You,” then going into Parting the Sea Between Brightness and Me opener “~,” then playing the new song “Nobody’s” (which they debuted live at UK hardcore festival Outbreak Fest two weekends earlier), and they closed with their early classic “Honest Sleep,” the same song they ended their career-altering 2009 Sound and Fury set with. Watch some videos of Touché’s surprise Sound and Fury set below.

Sound and Fury day one also included sets from Fiddlehead, Anxious, End It, Full of Hell, Drug Church, Sunami, Twitching Tongues (who covered the Misfits), Weekend Nachos, Zulu, Kumo 99, and more; and the fest wraps up today (7/14) with Have Heart, Sanguisugabogg, Fleshwater, Nothing, Harms Way, Chat Pile, One Step Closer, Koyo, They Are Gutting A Body of Water, SeeYouSpaceCowboy, xWeaponx, PeelingFlesh, Torture, Torena, Prize Horse, and more.
