Todd Rundgren, Iron & Wine, Rickie Lee Jones, Real Estate & more playing The Music of Crosby, Stills & Nash
This year’s “The Music Of…” benefit concert at Carnegie Hall celebrates the music of Crosby, Stills and Nash, and the initial lineup has been announced. It includes Todd Rundgren, Grace Potter, Yola, Iron & Wine, Rickie Lee Jones, Joseph, Shawn Colvin, Real Estate, Aoife O’Donovan, Neal Francis, Sammy Rae, and Caamp’s Taylor Meier. The show happens on May 13 at Carnegie Hall, and VIP tickets and packages are on sale now, with sales of general admission tickets beginning on Wednesday, March 20.
City Winery founder and CEO Michael Dorf presents the show, and proceeds benefit music education for underserved youth, with beneficiaries including Young Audiences New York, Church Street School of Music, The Orchestra Now, The Center for Arts Education, Music Will, The D’Addario Foundation, VH1 Save the Music Foundation, Newport Festivals Foundation, Theatre Within, Jazz Foundation of America, and Grammy Museum Foundation.
Dorf is also presenting a Sinéad O’Connor and Shane MacGowan tribute at Carnegie Hall this month.
