Great job, great job, great job! I understand that Rita Ora did not produce this tune, and it falls under the commercial realm, but I had to present “Praising You” here as it is such an exciting tune. The worldwide famous artist is releasing her third album soon, and there are already some spicy singles nearby.

“Praising You” draws inspiration from Fatboy Slim’s 1998 hit “Praise You”. The single is acclaimed for having one of the best music videos of all time – as per an MTV poll of 2001. The original was unique for its vocal and atmosphere, and I was skeptical about Rita being able to handle it with respect. It is such a fragile tune to remix.
However, she did a fantastic job! Her version is more energetic, boasting a confident vocal performance and a set of dynamic basses. Is that a Piano House lead? Gorgeous! There’s even a buildup and a drop, nothing too out of the ordinary, but it definitely smells of a club hit.
Rita Ora’s voice is excellent, her chorus landed a stunning performance, leaving a feeling that “Praise You” deserved such a good reconstruction. Hearing such a bouncy and energetic Piano House schema in the pop world makes me feel hopeful for a summer full of entertaining bangers. Cheers to that!
